Question FD alt into a S5 turbo 2

Aren't the connectors the same or at least the plug is right??? I really dont want to blow another alternator. I did searching and help from arron and got the diagram but it looks like the way they connect is the same. I do experience the draining and today my internal regulator broke so the alt wash pushing 16.7 volts. I know this is all due to wiring but all my wires lookk correct. heres a pic of the diagram im goin off of and the s5 plug.

i also got silver rotors FD Alt and installed it a week ago.

you may have to do some grinding to get the alt. to swing properly on the stock location.
Note there are no wiring changes....

You guys are awesome thanks. Yea that alt is big mother... All i did to make it fit was put my duel pully and get a .5" bigger belt and i was set. Oh.. and d =ing my tmic a lil tiny bit for the B cable. Any ways.. I was just curious to what might of cuased my alt to go out if the wiring was fine. I mean i had the car for a year and the s5 alt went out, no biggy, so i go bigger and in ONE month it goes out and takes an optima with it... am i missing something or just a string of bad luck....????

If everything was wired correctly, it just plain might have went bad. Happens all the time.

if you buy his alternator and tell him it's for an S4 he will be sure and send you what you need to adapt it.

no different plugs and also were the mount on the back of the alt, but you can buy adaptors for them, your you can make your own, but ifyou do that get a wiring diagram and match them up right and you'll be all good!

how do you know when your alternator goes out? would that cause your car not to idle?
