Cool

The meet went well (as always).

Didn't realize that I almost got rear ended by Rxcetera and Raven.
And what's this talk about Silver going head to head with a truck?

Luckily we had everyone keep up (except of course driving miss daisy Paul...)

And of course seeing the cars at the track and finally getting to talk to Howard. Busy guy that Howard. Hopefully the guys that I talked to about joining for next season will still be interested.

We lost a few people on our way to D&B. We had some interesting discussions. Especially Rxcetera...

Hopefully we'll get a winter beater meeting happening...

I went out to Mosport again today because they were having their "Sick Children's" Charity going on and you were able to catch a ride with a driver in their "exotics".
Unfortunately the weather didn't co-operate. The track was soaken wet. The same guys we saw on Saturday were there along with 4 more Ferrari F355's, 2 308GT's, a Lamborghini Miura, and a Ferrari 348 Challenge Cup car.
The skies opened up and that's when you could tell the real drivers for the guys who just own the cars and drive it in the dry.
Not 1 single Ferrari went on the track. The Porsche's on the other hand couldn't get enough of the wet. Especially the 2002 911 Turbo's curitosy of Pfaff Motors here in Newmarket.
Everyone kept saying how the Ferrari's were scared to come out. Even the track official's were pressuring the Ferrari owners. 1 of them finally caved in and went out. A Morune Ferrari F355 Berlinetta. He did one lap and had enough.
There was a lady getting out of the 993 Carrera 4S and said how the Ferrari was going so slow that they lapped it once and caught up to it again near the end!
It wasn't a good day for Ferrari's.

I got to ride with 2 guys who know Porsche's very well. Jeff drove a base 2002 911 Carrera and Rick drove the company 2002 911 Turbo. Those guys know how to drive at Mosport. It was pouring and the Porsche's were still going around the bends at about 140km/h. The back stretch had huge puddles but they still managed to get up to 260km/h.
You finally come to realize why the Porsche's are the way they are. And why you have to pay so much money to get one.

The track hasn't changed at all from the last time that I drove on it. It's mainly 3rd and 4th gear corners with the exception of the hairpin leading to the straightaway.

It's going to be alot of fun next season. I do have to stress that you must have Brakes! I forgot how hard you have to slow down on that track. Get those brakes prepared boys!

It's too bad the day wasn't dry but I had fun regardless.

Later,

Ok, guess I should tell everyone I made it home alive and well. Actually, the drive back was great... my car felt really smooth for some reason (probably cause I was dosing off lol.)

SILVER... I FORGOT MY COAT AT YOUR HOUSE . Thanks alot for the shelter. I had a great time hanging out as always. What have you been feeding little Ryan's head though? "Beat ya from a standin start"? Lol, you know you got lucky on that one . Honestly, I dont think I'm getting all I could out of this Dellorto... I'm sure I've got some fuel starvation problems at high rpm... I need to find a 1-6psi gauge somewhere.

FC ABC 123 (Paul)... thanks for the Asian connection on both nights. Too bad about Angie though, seemed like she was really "itchin" to play pool lol. Next time I'm on TO, I'll make sure to give you a call and we can do it again... you know man, get some real dick action LOL!

NEO... Fun as always. Sorry I almost took out your FD... I was almost taken out too though remember? lol. Would have made a nice FD/FB sandwich. If finances allow it, I'll give some serious thought to the schooling we where talking about. RX-8 or lessons on how to drive it... hmmm.

AARON... Nice to see ya again. I hope things work out (or not) with your "friend". Your car seemed much faster this time... you where always right on my *** lol. Is there a custom fuel injection in there we dont know about? lol.

RAVEN... I know you're never on here so there's no point in writting you anything lol. I now know that when you wave goodbye (for the 3rd time) and flash your hazards, it means your jetting... I wont follow you next time lol. BTW, thanks for not smashing my car... I guess that's what it takes to get in front eh? lol... "your *** is mine!" lol.

JORDAN, Andy, Micheal, Pentium, Penta, Pen Tao etc... I Hope things work out with your car. I know next spring you'll have a nice FD instead of a Sentra. Thanks for the crash course on Mandarin Chinese... too bad Angie was Cantonese lol.

MYRXBAD... What happened? Where'd you go?

Did I miss someone? Oh yeah...

ANGIE... What's up with that? Shame on you ... no more Asian connection for me... ya... right .

Well guys, I had a great time as always. Its cool how a bunch of people who drive the same car can get together and have fun doing other things together (allthough the driving is always the best part).

Beater meet. Sunfire vs Protege vs Civic vs whatever everyone else comes up with... I can imagine it now .

Hey guys

Well I decided to grace you all with my presence on the forum. The meet was a lot of fun I wish I could have come out with you to J&B, but I had a party with a bunch of hot single women. So I'm sure you understand.

Will, I'm glad you figured out what it meant by my waving and flashing the hazards, I lost you pretty damn fast though when I took off. oh well I'm sorry for almost running into you that's what happens when we all take off and I decide to take a quick look at my tack and you guys screech to a halt.. I'm glad we didn't have an incident like the time before.

Neo, did I hear you got beat by slow carborated cars? anyways good job to you on organizing the meet.

Andy, You are freaking INSANE, please when next time you decide to go 160Kph right towards a car going 80kph in the oposite direction and wait till the last 20 feet to move out of the way don't do it in front of me. (You scared the crap out of me.) and yes I had to slam on the breaks so you didn't die!

Paul, it was nice to meet you. get new tires and stop driving like a grandma. you have a bloody fast car use it to it's potential!

I'll up for a beater meet. my v6 camaro will kick all of your asses, well atleast in the donut contest..

I hate driving a sentra, esp. when I am with a bunch of rexers. lol
and I hate re-typing the whole thing, I lost my ex-typing, damn. ( what a perfect month for me) I am gonna do this way, one/two person per post.
I guess I missed a fun D&B time.

Chris and Mark: you two's FD are awesome. nice. I am really impressed, probally more than that, cuz I just lost mine. Chris, I am more stiken by ur engine bay, man. don't do that again until I get mine back. lol. Mark, I didn't know you have the single turbo under the hood, otherwise I'd ask you to pop it up and see it. Well, maybe next time. So, how many HP on ur FD now? Hmm... man, on the way back, I was at the rear, and Paul and I were stuck at a traffic light just b4 401. after on the 401, I was doing 160 and 140 when I stuck by traffic, but no way I can catch up, if you guys were doing 210. I heard from Andrew that you 2, Chris and Mark were doing 210km/h, lol, fine, just don't scared of other people. I didn't know Paul knows how to get to D&B, and he was way behind me at the moment I decided to go to A-spec. I went to there and get my money from the GT wing that I bought months ago. Then, I talked with Steve and Paul(, checking out Steve's FD's new looking. Oh, I just love the C-West N1 kit, the N1 front bumper looks nice, under the hood, it is empty. but all those new parts are lying on the higher shelter. I've seen the new big turbo and other stuff. Oh, that's gonna be a sweet FD later on. Mark, you should check it out if you havn't. Oh, I told Steve how you "admired" Paul's yellow FC, and Steve, the idiot, was like "which yellow FC?" until I said Mark( with the goatee) knows about the car, and there was ur previous shops sticker "MRU" on it, then he laughed and showed me the pics. Oh, forgot to mention the broken rear spoiler part. heh. umm.... what else? then I check his "inventory", there were 4 FD, not include Paul's and Steve's, I probly will consider 2 of them, one with a new engine( not a reman) from Mazda, 80K mil on it. and another black R1, lying there for months. I really want to get another black 95, not I know they are getting harder and harder to find out. If no luck, I am gonna go with a 93 R1, black or 99 blue ( yeah, 99 blue, cuz steve is gonna paint the black R1 to another color anyway) hope I won't kiss any concrete wall or whatever during next year's events. one thing for sure is No reds for me. Sorry Mark and Chris. Oh, yeah. Chris, what about the event, you just asked me if I want to join in next year's, but you didn't tell me what series it is. But from my seeing, it was EXACTLY the same from SOLO series. (but seems they are more prof.) PM me about it or just post here, k? thanks.

Andrew and Ryan: You guys must've had a long time talking? I didn't see you guys drink water or something at all. Didn't u guys just feel thirsty? Two camels. Andrew, when you call me at ur house, I was like just got home from A-spec and buying some foods with friends. It was fun making the screaming. LOL. I knew why you wanted to go up to the head, but I was looking at the truck and tyring to find out what the heck the truck driver was going to after pull over. Scared by a sentra now? what about a new FD? Actually, driving a senta was fun. I did some power-sliding near Futureshop today. heh. Ryan, did ya check out Aaron's 10000 hours Mp3z system? heh. Oh, I was really tired when you icqed me, but I guess you still had lots of energy huh? I've fall into sleep when I was on the way back home, I was like " why the heck are those cars backing on 401?" lol, glad I didn't hit anything on 401. Oh, yo, forget about the stock 99 blue looking FD in north american. I was just laughing. ( I didn't get high, ) so, you both and Paul, call me weekend or whatever. Andrew, I didn't go to the mall I mentioned b4, but if you want to get some videos, we may figure out a time to go there.

Paul: hey, yo. what happen when you were on 401? anyway, but I gotta tell that, ur last passing (b4 the last traffic lights when we heading to 401) is the craziest passing I ever seen. Man, you are crazy. I was behind and I was like "oh my god, this is crazy" hope you didn't scared of that coming car's driver. Paul, you should check out ur alarm system soon man. heh. It would be nice you can hook up our waterloo buddies with some hotties.

Aaron: you have a sweet FC, man. I guess I might keep on asking u what is that everytime we meet. 10000 hours of mp3z, that's huge. So, you said you are in IT biz? how about it? If you do know some Java, C++, or whatever, then I guess we may talk later on, so I can get a hand to do my coding. sweet. ( don't tell me you "speak" Ada, and DXL language too, I've alrdy scared of the "computer" system on ur car)

Will: had a good time on learning Mandarin? If everyone starts learning another language by learn some swearing words, then Will, a good start. So, forget about those, you should continue work on my first name, man. Actually, you are really good at the tone when you say my first name. Oh, forgot to mention, I know Cantonese, but just like yo, I still need more practices. Will, talking with Madarin girls or Cantonese girls really helps. keep on going. lol. You have a nice FB, man. come here if you get time, so I may have chance to learn what are those dicky actions from YOU and Andrew.

The meet

What's Up Boys!

Sorry I didn't make it out to D&B's. I was exhausted. I went home and went for a nap... Totally tired. Even if I did go, I would have had to stop and pick up the women, so I would have had to meet you there. When you do the beater meet, I'll make sure and get enough sleep. Plus my fiance' had been gone all week and was only home for the weekend! Had to stay home

Glad I got to meet up w/you @ mosport though. Even if it was for a short period of time. (Well didn't get introduced to everyone but will take care of that next time.)

Silver: Check the bar out and let me know. Like I said "I'm not gonna stiff ya for it." I'm not like that.

Neo: You went back to Mosport on Sunday and didn't call me. 1 word "Bast**d!". j/k Next time give me a call and I might show up (only living 15mins away). Maybe drop by the house next time.

Everyone: Nice to see you agian. We gotta start thinking about stuff for next spring and have a schedule (if you will) of things to do. Then that way maybe more people will get a chance to come out and plan better. If anyone's gonna be in Oshawa or near by, give me a shout and maybe we'll hook up.

Nothing else to say. I'll post later!

Cool

Jordan,

Solo and real track racing are 2 totally different things. I was talking about joining that Dexter School for next spring.
www.Dexterautosport.com

Read up there and try to fill out the form sometime in the future if you want to join those guys.

I've had the pleasure of getting a ride with a few of the guys we saw Saturday yesterday. I got reminded why Porsche is the car of choice when you talk about real racing.....

Action,

What's with this Turbo lag thing you keep talking about? lol
This from the guy who doesn't even have a car... LOL
I'll post something in the other thread you started....

MyRxbad,

I'm sorry I didn't call you. I keep forgetting that you live just by there. You could have gotten a ride around the track and see if you're still interested. The weather sucked but those damn Porsche's were still pushing hard! You would have loved it. Unfortunately I arrived at the time where they were having lunch. I didn't get a ride until 2:30 and then I got another ride at about 3:45. There were too many people. I had to remind myself that it was for the children after all. They even had rides in a helicoptor that went around the track and did some stunts in mid air. And this is with a normal passenger helicoptor. It looked freaky!
PM me your phone # and I'll make sure to call you if I'm ever in the neighborhood.

The weather for this week calls for rain and then snow around Friday. It looks like I'll be leaving the car in the garage for this week. I don't want it to get dirty anymore. It's a pain to wash the thing.

Soon to come, winter beater meeting....

Re: Hey guys

Hey guys, sounds like all of you had lots of fun. Too bad I couldn't make it this time. I was at Kingston visiting my gf (haven't seen her in a long time)

Seem's like the crazy driving never stops. I just bursted into laughter in the office when I read this.

Anyways, I would be at the next meet definitely.

Talking

Aaron - Your car is the nicest second Gen ive ever seen, the Mp3 player that holds 10000 hours of songs is wicked too, cool how your car talks to yu lol!! all yu need to do now is make a more compact one and sell it!. make millions.
Thanks! I've put a lot of work into it, and it's really nice to hear those compliments. As for the MP3 player, I have looked into manufacturing them. The problem is that there is a high startup cost, and a limited market. And since Kenwood and other companies are now making something similar, there's probably no place for a product like mine.

AARON... Nice to see ya again. I hope things work out (or not) with your "friend". Your car seemed much faster this time... you where always right on my *** lol. Is there a custom fuel injection in there we dont know about? lol.
Just a little throttle-happy for most of the day... Sort of a side effect of being in a bad mood. Should have seen me in Richmond Hill afterwards...Somewhere there's a Camero driver pissing his pants...

As for my friend, it will work out as expected. I have emailed her my "last words", and am simply waiting to find out when I can get my rope ladder back.

Aaron: you have a sweet FC, man. I guess I might keep on asking u what is that everytime we meet. 10000 hours of mp3z, that's huge. So, you said you are in IT biz? how about it? Yep, I'm an "everything" technician. Our company basically does everything to do with computers, from cleaning viruses to building systems into dynometers (done that twice now). I don't know C or Java, but I do know all variants of BASIC, and also Pascal, Turing, JavaScript, etc. Ada and DXL? Not sure I know what you mean.

I had a great time, guys. After we left D&Bs, I went over to Richmond Hill and played a little Laser Quest until about midnight. There's a marshal there that is pretty damn cute. We were supposed to go for a drive (she loves RX-7s) but alas, she could not get out of work until about 1:30. A little too early for me, considering the drive I had back to London. On the way out of Richmond Hill, some kid in a Camero decided he wanted onto the ramp before me. I would have liked to see the look on his face as he staired at my 89 taillights and quad flames exiting the exhaust...
