Wanted to show some of my friends pics of street rx7's shooting flames. If you dont have a pic what kind of setup do you have and how nice are the flames.

You dont have to try very hard to do it on a rotary, either your being sarcastic, or your not famillar with there flame throwing habbits.

You'd need a straight through exhaust wouldn't ya? I mean you couldn't do that with stock setup.....

Ive yet to actually see what it looks like from behind while its doing it, but ive been told it comes out about 5-6ft and sits there for about 5-10secs. I can see it in my rear view at times.

Same here, except my car is white and there is a metal bumper guard because the bumper started to melt. From what my friend's have told me, there are blue flames sometimes. Usually when I waiting at a stopped after racing or drifting.

its easy, just get rid of your cats, and your ACV and air pump. then rev it up over 4000. when it gets past 4000, the secondary injectors come online and shoot in extra fuel. when they are on, just let off the gas, and you should cough up a nice fireball accompanied by either a loud Bang or a Pop depending on how big the fireball is. My DSM shoots flames and its more of a PooF that resonates inside the car... i dont know how it does it... it just does.

sometimes, i can get my 7 to spit fire every shift... as long as im at the redline

Same here. I had a guy tell me the other day that he thought my car was on fire, He said, "I saw your car backfire and the flame just stayed there for 10 seconds"

Mine makes absolutely no noise, but if I time it right, I can light up an underpass from the highway really good at night

Having an EMS helps alot...

With my Microtech, I can change the idle map values for high vacuum to make them rich as hell...or lean them out for no flames.

I was traveling down the interstate after about 20 miles of ~90-100mph driving when traffic popped up. Let off the gas and hit the brakes in gear and I though someone shot a rifle off in the woods by the interstate.

Yes but have any of you shot a flame and held it while idling. I have. I put in my injectors and was having problems with getting it to idle, so I set it to 3grand and drove around for a while, came back backed it up into my driveway, saw a flash in my rearview mirror, I got up and adjusted the idle back down to about 1200 went to the back of the car and saw a flame about two feet long at idle, it had to have lasted at least thirty seconds while I was changing the idle. As soon as I saw it I turned the car off. anyone else have this problem.

That happened to me once. I was winding out the gears, and in second I got to about 6k RPM, when some dick pulled out in front of me.. so I slammed on the brakes but I didn't pull it out of gear. Hear a small pop then a REALLY loud one that sounded like a gunshot. Scared me for a minute.

yea, when my car shoots flames you can hear the BOOm start from under the floorboard, then move towards the back of the car, And when it pops man, its a solid 5-6ft flame and a pipebomb sound from the rear of the car.

This was right after they thought there was another sniper on the loose in W. VA. I rolled up my windows thinking "that'll slow the bullet down somewhat I guess"...

I let my buddy drive my car while i was behind him in his contour/mondeo, I saw some blue flames aswell as orange trailing flames. Sometimes I think my exhaust is about to blow the welds cause of the loud as hell bangs and kabooms

One of these days Ill trim the motor, Shooting flames is a waste of potential horsepower, looks cool though
