Hey guys,
I'm going to be painting my car really soon, and I was wondering if i should paint it innocent blue mica or titanium grey metallic like the spirit R. After seeing the spirit R in person it just inspired me to paint it that color. I know its my preference and choice, but i just wanted to hear your opinions out and what the pros and cons are.

 

I think you should paint it blue mica. That color is just beautiful, and a shade of blue that you hardly see on the road.

 

Blue Mica is nice... Fd3BOOSTs car looks amazing in person. I havent seen the Grey Metallic in person though...

 

Post some pics, I havent seen the spirit r color..

 

 

that titanium grey metallic looks awesome, but so does the IBM

This is no good. I have had plans to paint my FD 25G (Spirt R color) for some time now. The car is most likely going in for paint next week and all of the sudden everyone is like "yea spirit R!" haha. Dosn't really affect me, I just didn't think so many people liked the color. Maybe s2000 suzuka blue...wait Crashunit beat me to it. Laff

That Blue Mica looks absolutely unreal. I'm drooling all over myself...

 

Damn I was considering the grey also. Too many greys in SoCal. I'll have to rule that color out.....maybe.

Paint your car blue and then add some titanium grey stripes!

Even though Dave's car kicks ***.. I like the Grey better personally...

Whats the paint code for the innocent blue mica?

 

Both are great colors. I would paint my car Special Edidtion Titanium Grey (Spirit R color), but my engine bay would still be red.

 

Color code is 2P.

 

I think both colors are beautiful, and for me it would come down to how both colors look with my interior. Both colors would look awesome with a black interior, but the blue would go better with the tan interior(IMO). Either way, you can't go wrong with these new colors!

What color is your car now? Might make a difference unless you want to pay to have the engine pulled like JimLab... and BTW, i think jims vette blue is even better than IBM.
