I hear a beep in my car all the time. I'll be driving and its quiet then out of nowhere, I can even be stopped at a red light, a beep starts up......beeep.......beeep.....beeeep.....it drives me nuts, i dont know what it is, my oil is fine, and my coolant is fine, my gas is fine.....i just dont know....if I stop for a minute at the gas station and turn off my car the beep stops, and i turn the car on and its gone, I drive for like 5 minutes and there it is again, lol any of u know about that? and how to get rid of it?

1-beep, pause, repeat - in case abnormality of speed sensor signal:
In case broken wires or short circuits occur to sensors or harnesses, the buzzer sounds 60-seconds after the engine speed signal of 2200 rpm continues for 18-seconds.
2-beeps, pause, repeat - in case abnormality of engine speed signal:
The buzzer sounds when the vehicle speed signal is input and no engine speed signal is input (short circuit, broken wire, etc.)
3-beeps, pause, repeat - in case abnormality of stepping motor signal:
The buzzer sounds when there are broken wires or short circuits in coils or harnesses.
4-beeps, pause, repeat - in case abnormality of the power steering microcomputer:
The buzzer sounds when there are circuit troubles other than with the micro computer.
5-beeps, pause, repeat - in case abnormality of steering sensor signal:
The buzzer sounds 60-seconds after broken wire or short circuit occurs to sensors or harnesses when the vehicle speed is above 40Km/h (25 mph).
Continuous beep - in case abnormality of the power steering microcomputer:
The buzzer sounds if the microcomputer becomes abnormal and cannot control the system.

The power steering computer has it's own error code system which will emit gentle beeps (versus louder the redline, LOW COOLANT, LOW OIL buzzer) when it encounters a problem with the power steering system.

The speed sensor signal sender is in the dash speedometer.
Check it's connector & solder joints.
Check the connector at the steering control box above the drivers left knee.

*blinks* How can you not know your oil level? I check it every time I get gas, and usually sometime in between when I'm waiting for people... the only way I'd ever have to deal with the low oil level buzzer is if I had a severe leak somewhere.
That's interesting that there's a speed limit buzzer in some cars. I suppose it's a good way to cut down excessive speeding, at least for people who don't have the knowhow to disable it.
