Ignition Switch

Own a 1989 Mazda 323 that my key is stuck in the ignition. I know that i need to remove the steering column to replace it, is there any other information that someone can give me to make this job easier or is there more information needed, and am I correct in saying that it's the ignition switch I need to replace??

Thanks all b4 hand for any help

Sell that piston powered pile and get a Rx7. All the problems I have ever heard about 7's ... I am yet to hear about a stuck key

hey to remove the ignition switch from the column you need to get a chisle and make a grove on each one of the screws on top then just unscrew it with a screwdriver.
