Quick interior and engine bay shots of the rebuild.

Engine done by Marvelspeed here in Dallas.

Great bunch of guys and AWESOME work and attention to detail. They even polished my suspension arms when they installed the jimlab bushings!!

The intercooler is Kevin Wyum ASP medium with an older pipe to "try" to clear the airpump...

The carbon fiber is work done by Mark Koch (carbonfiber overlay)

here is an interior shot.

but, you should hear the engine!! With all of the stories from other shops, I would easily recommend these guys to anyone! He really does an impressive job on his motors with many many years of experience.

Thanks...

but the pics seem to make it "cleaner" than it actually is....

the aluminum is already oxidizing and the black interior needs a good vacuum and dusting

thanks! I am not a big fan of guages....but they are there, just hidden.

There is a Defi HUD boost guage to the left side of the dash that project the boost onto the windshield. The PFC is hidden in the ashtray. And the Profec B and control for the HUD/turbo timer is in the glove box.

I wanted it in the glove box so I could turn off the boost controller and lock it so no one could mess with it....(by giving them the valet key)

Now I just need to pick some wheels....

Nice! Change the couplers to blue instead of black to match and wow! Nice interior too but there again, how about some newer ICE (stereo). But where did you get the CF dash set - beautiful!!!!!!!! As for the hood problem, the pipe looks a little high anyway. I can see the coupling trying to hold in down. Maybe take it off and saw off an 1/8" so it will sit a little lower. You should be able to lift up that eng. breather hose over the #2 turbo intake pipe enough to make room for lowering that pipe. I tell you, the real problem is that filler neck popping up in the middle of things, a problem I'm having to work around with my re-plumbing job!

I thought about that....the guys thought it would look better in black ...just didn't get to change the others to black but now am considering blue again.

I kinda like the Bose...I know strange but I do...plus I use my Ipod with a FM transmitter...and am happy with it

the CF is from mark koch at carbonfiberparts.net awesome work that he does!

the intercooler pipe hits the airpump. Even if I cut it, it would still hit the pump. The only way it would fit is if I take a sledge hammer and "flatten" it...

LOL...no exterior shot yet...it still looks the same montego blue. We did the engine first so we wouldn't have to worry about ****** up the new paint.

It has to go back to the body shop for the paint and 99 spec part (hopefully this next week)

If you want I can get an exterior shot...but it aint pretty. For the longest time people where asking Don and David Marvel about my car as a "PARTS CAR"!

the front end and rear are off...and up until this last 2 weeks, the interior was totally gutted....

here is a *before* pic
