Holy ****! I still remember when it was a completely gutted shell.

I saw you and Ray working on it not but a few weeks ago, looks like you've done some serious work!

Awesome job, mad props!

The wing and the front should be on by tomorrow and ready for me to pickup.

The paint does look great...he said that it should be even better as they still need to buff it, so it will look even shinier!!!

I paid ALOT! I'm embarassed to say. I will post the price after I get it back. I just want to make sure that the paint looks perfect before my final judgement.

The front was going on as well as the 99 rear wing.

Then a buff and polish. He said I would have to wear sunglasses to pick the car up!

Hey Bob - Haven't paid much attention to wheels lately.
Like the idea of the volk gram light 57pro's - don't know about gunmetal though. Polished rims with your color car look great IMO.

These look pretty good too..

Car looks great but all that money spent and still the stock emblems? I think you should get some of the newer style mazda emblems to go with that newer style conversion.

That question was asked earlier...

its the ASP medium fiberglass duct covered with carbon fiber.

Maybe some of the guys who are around doing CF fabrication will make a full CF version.

Damn! Things move so slow.

But the car is finally back in the garage. Still have to finish the interior and break the engine in. Put brakes on after getting new wheels (still ruminating on that one) and the Mettalit cat.

You are so close! It looks great. I'm looking forward to seeing it next time I'm in Dallas. Let me know next time you come to the Houston area.

Wheel suggestions:
Advan Siena Generation II (like on my car)
Work VS-XX (not chrome, silver or gold spoked)
Advan TC2 http://gruppe-s.com/Advan/advantc2.htm
Gram Light 57pro http://gruppe-s.com/Volk/gl57p.htm

I'm still waffling on which wheels even after the poll in the suspension section...
