RE Amemiya FC2002 bumper is here! Replica on the way!

Hello people. We are going to make a replica of the RE Amemiya FC2002 bumper. The original one is here. Here are the photos:

Here are the target prices:

bumper only: $650
bumper with Hella 90mm high/low beam, lens covers: $1000
Bumepr with Hella 90mm low beam HID, halogen high beam and lesn covers:$1500

I think it's a sweet deal. If you buy a East Bear light kit, it's already $625. For $375 more, you can have a true sleek light kit, a bumper, and much better German made Hella lighting. The best part is you can even have HID! I am going to use the same high quality components as on the Rotary Extreme headlight kit.

Please let me know if you guys are interested. Thank you.

I am very interested and could be in a position to pick one up this summer. Although seeing the end product fit and finish is a factor. Anyone able to post some pics of this installed on various cars/colors?

Chuck, do you have a price for "just" the lighting upgrade (w/ or w/o lens covers)? If so, that would be awesome.

Actually the light kit is part of the bumper so I can't offer just the light kit by itself. Sorry man.

Rotaryextreme: Would the HID kit use HID projectors (similar to those used in OEM applications)?
I'm looking for the HID brightness but also want the cutoff line so I don't blind everyone on the road

i'm interested as well but like Buizda said, anyone have pics of the finished product?

What's the retail on one of these kits?
Not ******* you or anything, but your price for the replica is not far from the price of the orginal.

please correct me if i'm wrong.

beside that i'm interested, how about a special price for pre-orders?

I want one with HID, put me down. Email is Peter_ccna@sbcglobal.net

The cost of the original with lights is $1680. so you will save aout 680 bucks if you go with the non hid package, and still get better lighting. and for 1500, you are getting the whole kit WITH HID. if you wanted to buy the re original you would pay 1680+ 650 for HID. got 650 from the Catz HID kit.

What if someone orders the standard lighting kit (w/ bumper of course), but down the line wishes to upgrade the lighting? Can you then provide the "upgraded" lighting?

For Hella HID light pattern, please go to

http://www.rotaryextreme.com/sleeklight.html

It's a projector so it has a very sharp cut off point. I do the HID upgrade in house. There is not a retro fit HID kit for the H9 bulb Hella 90mm lights use. You can get the regular lights now and send the projectors back to me for HID upgrade later.

You mean if people get the regular halogen now and want to upgrade to HID later on? I usually do it for $600 like on the Rotary Extreme 3rd gen Sleek light kit but if you pre order the bumper, I will do it for $500.

I am actually giving the FC people a big discount already. I sell the 3rd Gen sleek light kit for $850 and I have sold at least 60 of them and they are always on back order. I can't keep up with the demand. So if you compare that to the 3rd gen sleek light kit, you are only paying $150 for the bumper.

I know FD people are probalby going to be bitching at me for doing this but I really want to get into the FC3S market. You should notice not too many US vendors are coming out with new products for the FC. I am trying hard to give you guys the latest and newest product but yes, I do need to make a profit to stay in business and that's why my company is the fastest growing one right now. I have at least one new product coming out every month.

If you want to buy the original one, I can import you one too. We have a container coming in almost every month. But you have to realize the light kit that comes with the original RE Amemiya FC bumper is the same junk one as on the RE Amemiya 1st generation 3rd gen sleek light kit. You can't see anything on the road.

I don't like to sell or make stuff that does not have any kind of improvement over the original, either on price or quality. I can throw in some cheap fog lights and lower the price by $100-200 but then that will ruin my reputation. I rather make something better and charge more than making some cheap products and getting a bad rep.

That's why I offer it without the headlight kit for $650. If you are on a budget, you can get other kind of lights and put in there. Thank you.

some pix of the Hella HID:

You are getting the same Hella HID as on the 3rd gen headlight. You can expect the same kind of lighting. I have an HID video clip. Go to

http://www.steveprew.com/~rextreme/HID1.avi

to see it.

I can guarantee you it will be the best purchase you will ever make for your FC, exterior wise and lighting performance. You will come back and thank me too. =)

WOW very nice quality, the bumber looks really good, im defenetly going to consider that for the summer. I really appriciate the FC support you are giving us for aftermarket parts cuz there simply is way too little out there for our cars, and making a market for our cars can only benefit the FC owners.
Great work man and keep it up, ill check out your websight asap and tell ppl about it thanks again.

Can you copy the entire kit ??

Also, be sure to "modify/enhance" the kit enough to be original & not get in trouble with RE Amemiya.

In fact, you might consider how much RE would charge to be a reseller in the US (ie they're made here to save shipping costs).

Hope this help
