You did a good job matching the paint for the engine bay.

same paint code and brand. No variances in the paint code to choose from and fresh paint on the car make it very easy to do.

I have a PWR radiator coming and Apexi intake and piping being polished and chromed right now.
The fan shroud is also out being "vacuum metallized", to give it a chrome look. "Vacuum metallizing" is the same process used to give the inside of flash lights their reflective coating or the back of headlight assemblies, for example. If you didnt know.. http://www.muellercorp.com/chromeplatingplastic.htm. Arts car has the same thing done to his fan shroud as well as a few other plastic parts. Its nearly impossible to out bling that cars engine bay. Mad props to him for all the work to his engine bay..

lol sorry about another post..I was kidding about the top... I would love to have the skill you have to paint cars. That's a beautiful paint job. I know it would cost so much more money than you have spent if you got someone else to do it. Maybe I'll take a painting class
BEAUTIFUL CAR.

I love the kit, but the Squared off plate holder isn't to my taste.
I LOVE LOVE the rims, What kind are they?

Beautiful Car

Why 18s and not 17s? I was told over and over that anything over 17 hurts performance. I'm stupid though when it comes to cars so whatever! Nice car!

Simple, 18s' look better. Yes they do hurt your straight line performance some, but I dont drag my car that often (at least enough to justify a smaller rim) and if I did I wouldnt even use 17s'. You would want to use a 15 with some sticky tires. A couple companies are now making 18s' in a drag radial that will stick awesome for straight line street racing. I need to burn these off first.

Your car is just sick ! I love it !!
If the picture on the front side was bigger, I'd use it for my walpaper. Just simply amazing...

Wow.....

Can't wait to see the finished product. It will probably be one of the cleanest/nicest FD's EVAR!

As far as the motor goes, I know I am going to go single (TO4S). I had the Apexi kit on my last FD, but I want a little more power this time. I plan on polishing as many parts as I can and going with blue accents (vacuum lines, pulleys, maybe even converting to AN fittings) I might even try to move some of the fuse boxes to try and hide them or at least group them together better and make or have made a fiberglass/plastic cover to hide them.
I guess plans changed. I ended up going with the 99 twins for now. If I can make at least 355rwhp with these I will be happy. My last FD,which had an Apexi single, was putting down 355rwhp on an untuned stock motor and that car was plenty fast. I will probably still end up going single in a few years with a need for more speed, but for now the 99 twins were liking the bank account a little more.

what color do you guys think I should re-cover the seats in? Black, gray etc.. The tan looks ok in the pics but in person it fails to impress me. I was thinking maybe a medium gray or a 2 tone.

go with a 2 tone....like black on the outside and red on the inside. Play around with colors like that and see what you come up with....just a suggestion..good luck! NICE CAR!!!

my engine accents are blue. I was almost thinking some blue Cobras' would look good, but it seems like none of the aftermarket seats fit very well.
