With vacuum i mean when the boost gauge is on in. hg.

Atleast i think it's when it's on vacuum.

Can also be described as when im accelerating alittle it blows out constantly and when i step down the pedal alittle more it stops and dumps as normal.

When the BOV sees vacuum it opens up. That is what it is designed to do. It sounds weird to most people, and that is probably why the factory muffled it in the airbox. You'll either have to get used to it, or muffle it.

Isn't there anyway to get rid of this?

If i cant get rid of it, the sound from some BOV's will be very funny as some dont have a constant sound.

What kind of intake do you have? I have the ghetto k&n version, and route the bov back into the intake. It is less obtrusive. You could put a little air filter on the hose to lessen the noise, or you could just modify your driving style: either boost, or cruise.

That's not your BOV you hear. That's the charge relief valve your hearing. It's there to vent excess boost from the 2nd turbine.

Actually you all are right. It is both the BOV and Charge relief valve. As was stated before to prevent you from hearing it you must either route it back into the air box or muffle it in some other way.

if you get an aftermarket bov setup then you wont hear that. they have a stiffer spring. it doesnt bother me at all. cause i know it works. . . i read one time that if it doesnt do that it will build up boost and bust up your turbos. you have to remember that it is happening when you are at an abnormal (to natural aspiration) vacuum reading. if you arent using that (at cruise) then its just gonna vent it off. once you throttle it . . . itll close up and give you all you want.
