Ramy, seriously...Vector? I swear you are the biggest ricer I know (see Ramy's response to my last post) I'm going to throw the name me and Charlie have picked out later on today and see how it is received by the masses.

Too bad it was not just rotary related then you could use Rotary Dynamic Concepts getting all 3 names in there. :-)

How about Automotive Performance Specialists? APS Inc.
Innovative Automotive Technologies? IAT Inc.
Automotive Performance Enthusiasts? APE Inc.

Race Design Concepts (still initials and its not rotary related)

Ramy... i have to agree with Dan on Vector... Vector + (anything) will still sound a bit tacky. like , Factor X, Fusion R, those types ... I just tossed it in the bottom for inspiration but the word needs some modification to work.. imho ... i used to think "Vector Zero" sounds cool, but now it kinda feels like a amature racing crew name.

some more names:

Troika (powered by 3, can be ramy, dan, charlie, or 3 apex seals.. )
Dynamic Theory
Vitamin R
FUEL Engineering
Tronic Speed
Mekanic Werks
Nexus Racingsports
Impact Racing

that's it so far, i'll think of more later..

Alright here is what Charlie and I came up with...

Allegiance Motorsport or Speed Allegiance .

Lastly,

"Roar of the Rotary"

Joking about the last name
Ramy thinks it's terrible, but me and Charlie think it's pretty much perfect.

Speed Allegiance sounds pretty good.

Many of the other mentioned names are already used.

I don't play warcarft so I have no idea what you're talking about. To me it's has meaning and sounds a little more refined then other names I've heard / thought of.

lol.. u mean... "alliance" ?? i.... i play.. WoW.. There! i said it! Ofcourse my design profession and FD hobby always comes before that.

I personally don't like allegiance either.... reminds me of k12 days saying "Pledge of Allegiance" every morning. Names are hard. Hard to come up w/ good one, and hard to settle down on it. i've been searching for a good shop name that i'm never gonna use for 12+years now.

i didn't think you guys want japanese names... but i have a few i've liked in the past as well..

I'm not so sure about the acronym (reminds me of some skank from high school ), but I think this is the best name so far

Motion Power Motorsport

Whether it is for simple or full tuning/builds, you guys can always put someone's car in motion(running/faster/stronger/etc).

Dan, I don't think it's terrible. But I think it's definitely mundane. I want something w/ a bit of flare; a sorta spark to it. A name that's intriguing. And not surprisingly, most ppl didn't feel the name either. Plus I'm trying to stay away from a name that makes it seem like we focus on one aspect only - like speed, or power. I'm trying to have it be something that's reflective of us being endlessly seeking perfection in ALL aspects

So was your name original, sure. But PERFECT? A bit short, if I can put it delicately

Since we're letting the cat outta the bag, I'll post up the ones I was seriously considering...

- Race Technique/Track Technique/Touge Technique (the last one being my favorite, esp. given that Touge, IMO, is still a young sport here in the US, and often demonstrates the best of the automotive aftermarket: exterior, performance, handling, tuning, the whole 9).

- Intransigent (it means "unyielding" or "uncompromising", ie a "no compromise" shop/performance part).

And just for fun:

- Ramulux Enterprises (LOL thanks Rich! )

- Vector Se7en (I really liked that)

- Track Engineered is pretty cool too...although I'd want it to have a "Still Street Legal" tone to it somewhere... Maybe "Track Engineered, Street Legit"? haha

My $0.02,
~Ramy
