Arrow Looking for Suggestions for our Shop Name/Product Line!

Hey guys,

We're finally at the point where we'll be introducing our own product line, and hopefully very soon, opening up our own full service shop!

We've been toying with a few names for the shop name/product line for a while now, but haven't really come up w/ anything definitive. So I figured who better to ask than our great customers & supporters!

- It's gotta be professional (no "MadD fAsT ShIfT y0!" typa names LOL) yet still catchy (nothing dry like "Mike's Auto Repair")
- It's gotta be representative of what we're about (form & function without compromise)
- It's gotta be broad enough to accommodate *all* the product line & services we are and will be offering (ie can't be rotary-only specific)

As I'm sure you guys are all aware, a name can say a *lot* about you, if you choose the right one. So it's definitely something we're taking seriously. And as a little motivation, should one of the suggested names end up being used by us, the first person to suggest it will get a Special Offer/Discount with FDNewbie Imports!

So with that, lets hear your suggestions!

Thanks!
~Ramy

Oh, and the person that comes up with the name gets a $100 off their choice of product from our upcoming line How's that for incentive?

No, you didn't alternate caps w/ lowercase, so it's *totally* different

How about naming the shop after some of your biggest contributors? "Juiceh Performance" has a nice ring to it!

Ethereal Auto Salon

e·the·re·al
adj.
1. Characterized by lightness and insubstantiality; intangible.
2. Highly refined; delicate. See Synonyms at airy.
3.
a. Of the celestial spheres; heavenly.
b. Not of this world; spiritual.
4. Chemistry Of or relating to ether.

Ethereal Pretty much sums up the Rotary Engine and the FD to me. (Heavenly, Spiritual and Magical) and how this car in particular taps into that piece of me, like no ather car can or ever will.

For some people the 7's are just a Japanese car that breaks down... (so you don't want to limit your name to the FD or Japanese cars in general)

This name doesn't have anything to do with cars, but what that do to/for us as drivers/ owners and mechanics.

just like anything magic or spiritual, ther is ups and down (track time and garage time) sometimes when your car works it feels magical, and then all of a sudden when your rotor loses compression that happyness dissapers (MAGIC!)

the Salon part of the name will contribute to the name as well, furthering the more exotic name theme.

Everybody and there mom shops at places that are named XXX Racing, XXX Auto Sports, XXX Motor Sports. (I'm one of them)

It always buggs me when people go into a race oriented shop (or at least it is named in that manner) to buy a body kit for a bone stock automobile.

The word salon welcomes the non-race application crowd, and caps the animosity of Race Ap. Regulars. (Me being one of those people, but I keep my mouth shut)

Since the Name does not incorporate Racing into it theme, people will be less intimidated to come in and potentially purchase something (even if its just a shift ****)

so you want a new name for the company? and also separate names for product lines? what type of products? i know what you sell.. but i mean... for product line.. ur Vmount may be different than other aero stuff..... categories will help w/ the naming as well..

*pulls out the dictionary and thesaurus* .....
