I expect to start taking GB deposits for these possibly as early as next week. The test-fitted Rx-7 is expected to be fully completed by this weekend. As long as no issues arise with the bracket installations, we'll be ready to roll.

Now that the car has been painted, the headlight housings have excellent fitment! I am very pleased with the final product. Obviously the kit involves bodywork, but in terms of overall fitment, uniformity of gaps, etc. we are very pleased.

The lights we chose to run for this particular kit were Hella lighting all around. 90mm low-beams and 120mm Hi-beams. It's a pretty expensive lighting set-up to be honest, but in terms of overall quality...it can't be beat. Generic pictures of the lights we're installing are below:

I will be going tomorrow to do the installation of the brackets. At that time, I'll take additional pictures of the final kit with the actual lights and brackets installed. I'll be posting those pictures up over this weekend and if everything goes well, will start posting GB details sometime next week.

Thanks,
-Rizwan

I've had several people PM'ing me to ask regarding the lighting...at the moment the light option we'll be providing will be Projector lighting w/Proper cut-offs. There are cheaper options available out there in terms of lighting that we might consider selling as an added option. We will also just provide a base kit w/out lighting so you can choose for yourself whatever lighting method to pursue.

I have a tentative idea of what we'll be asking. I'll do my *best* to have finalized GB and regular pricing by the end of this weekend. I do know that for anyone willing to put down a small non-refundable deposit toward the purchase of the first GB, I will be providing an added discount to the purchase price.

Will you be able to offer the brackets for the lighting kit itself? Thanks!

Hella is a good choice, I believe they are the only DOT/SAE approved aftermarket headlight replacement.

We will be offering the housings/brackets sold together. Our brackets were designed specifically for our housings. They are of very high quality, excellent fitment, and overall superior to the original brackets designed for this kit.

QUICK UPDATE: Finished installation of the Rotary Run Racing Style Headlights that we produced. Everything went great! As mentioned earlier we are very pleased with the fitment of the housings and extremelly pleased with the overall fit and quality of the brackets. These are vastly superior to the originals, which suffered from instability due to road vibrations. We've also used higher grade metal and reinforced the brackets so that the lights stay firmly in place. So, at this point, we are ready to start conducting a GB and get things rolling.

There is one piece of bad news though...the original Hella lights I planned on using will NOT work with this kit whatsoever. The depth of the lights is too significant and won't allow for mounting. Therefore, I'm working on several other lighting options based on overall quality, price, and design. We will more than likely be providing several options of lighting so that customers can decide whether they have a preference based on the details.

I'll be posting detailed pictures of the lights installed later tonight. I also have detailed pictures of the installation process, which will be supplied to customers who purchase the kit.

Thanks,
-Rizwan

Looking forward to hearing the details Riz. GB vendor pricing is only 75 bucks one-time fee, fyi. If I didn't already have the Sakebomb Garage HIDs I'd be seriously considering these

Reason I asked is because I've purchased the RR kit from evo-r. However depends on the price of your kit, I might switch over to yours.

Not that the RR Kit is bad, however the bracket it came with is not very firm/sturdy "quality" as I expected.

Nice to hear you're checking in Rich

I will actually be applying for a vendor membership once these are ready for sale. I have a bunch of products I've been developing in the backend to release once I'm confirmed as a vendor.

I understand. The original RR Racing light kit was better quality than the EVO RR one from pictures I've seen and testimony I've received from other members, BUT at the same time my fabricator and installer all agreed that it still was not sturdy enough to properly support and secure the lighting in place. Therefore we redesigned and reinforced our brackets to address this significant issue.

UPDATE: I am waiting to receive a finalized time-frame for production of the brackets so that I can give an appropriate delivery date for the headlight kit. Other than that, everything is ready to roll.

Once I have that information, I'll be able to post up a final price for the kit as well as the initial one-time GB for member appreciation/support.

Finally, I've been able to determine the lighting we will offer with this kit as a complete package. It includes a combination of Hella 90mm hi beams and Hella approx. 120mm H3 driving lights. I will be test-fitting both to ensure fitment, but these have been sourced/sized correctly to ensure that they will work.

Riz, can you provide a pic of the trimming to the head light bucket that is required for this kit? Not the bumper trimming, but where the mount bolts up?

I do have pictures of all of that. I'll PM those to you directly though. I took extensive pictures that I would provide with the kit itself to allow installers to have a better idea of what's entailed.

hmmm, I am amazed with the quality of how this kit turn out to be. I wish this was done before I've purchased the EVO-RR kit.
