Since the housings/lenses/brackets are built... how about some more photos? And in all this time waiting for these to materialize, what options for the lights have you chosen?? And no pricing??? If and when you do start another thread...how's about following up more frequently on here, so we can get this ball rolling????

I was accurate in stating that the buckets, brackets, and lenses are all complete for this kit. To be honest, we could have released this kit over a year ago, however our focus has always been on fitment and quality. It's a bit unfortunate that this fact seems to be lost on most people.

We've done extensive testing to ensure that we deliver the best product possible. The *only* reason I haven't started taking deposits yet is that I was awaiting the fabricator to sign off on two things:

1- To confirm whether the headlight kits are ready for production and the time-frame for delivery?

2- The fabricator and I wanted to confirm that the headlights themselves would remain stabilized within the buckets while driving.

Let's not forget how many poor fitting and terrible quality headlight kits are already out there. This includes all the copies of the C-west Headlights, copies of the KnightSports Headlights, etc. I've personally owned the RE-A's, Rotary Extreme's, C-West, and EVO-R kits and some of these were absolutely terrible. There's plenty of information to be found on this forum regarding the different headlight kit options so I would recommend doing your research prior to making an informed decision.

Anyway, I'll be posting pricing details and taking deposits for this kit within this week. I'll open a new thread for this information.

Thank you,
-Rizwan

Just to clarify: These lights are being produced by my company, RxRacing Inc., and in conjunction with FDNewbie Imports. We both have always strived to deliver products that excel in terms of attention given to quality and fitment. The production of these lights falls into the same category.

I do understand it has taken much longer than ever anticipated, but that has been because we wanted to ensure that all our customers would be satisfied by the finished product. The reason why I don't have lights on my car at the moment is simply because no light kits have blended the quality I need with the aesthetics I want.

I've personally owned a bunch of different headlight kits in the past and instead of bashing on anyone, I'll just leave it at the fact that I'm no longer running them.

I will be posting pricing either tomorrow or Saturday. I'll be adding additional pictures of the product and will start taking initial deposits from a limited number of people.

Thanks,
-Rizwan

Hey Riz, I was wondering if you will be providing a template that they can put over the bumper so they know how much to cut.

It would be easy to make your own template by laying the housings upside down on a piece of paper and tracing it out. You'll be able to place your template next to your stock lights/bonnet/fenders to align it properly spaced, then simply trace the remaining overlay to the front bumper and add the gap spacing to match what your individual car has. A Dremel rotary tool(yes, I said rotary) could be utilized to remove material until your satisfied. Take your time and don't overheat the bumper by removing material too fast. Sand the edges to a radius for an oem look. I've decided to give Riz a chance to deliver on his word and will wait for these to be completed. I'm considering picking up both replicas to compare quality and have a backup set should I ever need to replace them in the future when the supply dries up. I'll post my findings in my build thread in the n.w forum. Note that the Evo-r housings have the rear openings uncut at this time, also the lenses are not cut evenly in the photos provided and looks like they are/will be held in place with double stick tape over the housings which will fail to keep moisture and wind from ripping them off at freeway speeds. I personally don't like the taped over method. I prefer a flush mounted solution with gaskets and removable fasteners as you'll need to have access at some point. This will be difficult to accomplish with the original design. I won't be utilizing the lenses also for the ability to duct in fresh air for supplying my turbos, but I thought that I would point out my observations to those interested.

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

Like I mentioned earlier, we've been finalizing a few small details regarding the buckets, but in general the *base version* of these lights are complete. Initial production run will be a minimum of 7-10 people. I will be offering a discount to definitely 2 or possibly 3 people to document the installation process for us. I believe 1 spot is already spoken for and I'll be explaining details of what we'll need on your end.

Rotary Run Racing Headlights *Base Version*: Includes reinforced/redesigned buckets, reinforced/redesigned mounting brackets, and hardware necessary for install. Lighting or lenses not included with this version.

$600 + Shipping/Paypal (Paypal fees if applicable).

I will have details regarding pricing on the lenses as we're working on a couple versions at the moment. Lighting is currently being finalized and a *Complete Version* will be available shortly. If you have any additional questions/concerns, please either PM or post them here and I'll try to address.

Thanks,
-Rizwan

I'll consolidate and repost all the pictures I have of the completed kit either tonight or tomorrow. I also spoke again with the fabricator and the buckets are now 100% complete. We're finalizing the mounting of the lenses and finalizing the lighting. I believe we will be going with Hella Lights initially and add a true HID option a little afterwards.

Also, we've decided we'll only be needing 2 people to assist with documentation/installation of the kit. I believe I've already figured the details out and I will let everyone know when these are ready for sale. If you'd like to purchase prior to receiving installation advice/documentation I would be willing to sell the kit on a case by case basis.
