During the last GB, Ramy posted it had to be one color. Unless he retracts that statement then enter the GB under the assumption the **** will be black.

 

If you guys can agree to drop the price a small bit I'm in.

 

how much to ship one to the UK?

 

The LEDs can be removed and replaced with whatever color you want. However, doing so will void any sort of warranty that Ramy would give you.

Just to let you guys know, I was in on the last group buy.

The **** is the authentic Mazda OEM part. (Wouldn't expect anything less from Ramy; He supports original manufacturers.)

Mine was in black leather and included a black leather shift boot, also a Mazda factory part.

The factory (RX-8) wiring harness connectors were included. You can use these to splice them into your RX-7 harness. There are two wires near the shifter for the lights in an Automatic transmission shift indicator. These are perfect for this application.

I have NOT taken my **** apart, so I don't know how easy it is to do, but if one has enough ***** and patience, you can turn the color to blue,, green, white, or whatever you want. There IS a thread on how to do this.

There was even a little label that you tie to the shifter with an elastic band if you were a dealer... It says something to the effect of, "Do not connect wiring until AFTER the **** has been screwed onto the shift lever. Disconnect wiring BEFORE removing shift **** from shifter. Do NOT rotate the shfit **** on the shifter or you will damage the wiring."

Common sensical, but it indicates that these are kits for foreign market (JDM) dealers to install.
