I finally got around to installing the kit and realized you sent me the wrong part. You sent me a OT/2J Oil Stat - 16 JIC. Its way to big for the tubes and other pieces you sent :P. My mechanic says its for hardcore racing engines lol.

WHAT!?! It should be -10 AN can you take a picture of it and either send it to me or post it? That is def. wrong by a lot. We might have to send you a new one priority with a return label. Part number should be OT2-3, OT2-J doesn't exist.

Seems I'm having bad luck this year with parts lol. First it was rhdjapan sent me right 99spec brake duct instead of the left one. Then Racing Beat sent me a Turbo II bushing for the front sway bar instead of my 93 bushing, and now you sent me the wrong Oil Stat ^_^.

Install Tips:

1. For those of you who are keeping the AC. You may need to remove the red rubber bumper for the Oil Thermostat mount bracket. We recently found that one some cars the AC line to the compressor (the big thick one) hits the Oil Thermostat a little too much with the red bumper on. Removing this allows for enough room and still clears the stock fans on the stock radiator. If you're running an aftermarket radiator/fans, you may have to adjust this yourself. We are still considering mailing everyone who is still using the AC and has ordered one of our kits some heat wrap for the AC line that goes over the Oil Thermostat, just in case.

2. Next, in our first set of pictures, we showed how to mount the lines in the adel clamps but we were only using 1 solid white plastic spacer. We could no longer source those white spacers and had to resort to using a small and larger spacer that need to be stacked. A few of you were confused as to what the tiny spacer was for because we failed to mention to stack these together for the clamp... Here are 2 pictures of how they should mount on each side:

3. Lastly, we have had a couple of questions about removing the stock oil line from the pedestal. To do this, unfortunately it is quite a pain in the butt, as you do have to remove the PS and AC from the big pulley bracket on the side of the motor. Then you have to remove that ENTIRE bracket/mount piece from the side of the motor, because the stock line is bolted to that bracket, and kind of behind it... Here are some pics to help...

Here are 2 pictures of the big accessory bracket that the stock line is bolted to (at the bottom) and that needs to be removed to remove the stock oil line to the pedestal. Here I am holding a spare one we have in front of the motor:

Here it is so you can see the bolt hole locations from the side:

Here it is still in the engine bay for good measure:

Here is the side of the motor with the bracket removed and the accessories zip tied up out of the way:

This is the stock oil line that has to be removed and you can see how it bolts:

More install pics. We will be making an install thread in the near future.

Line from the pedestal to the thermostat. Note my thermostat is at a much greater angle because I am running the RE v-mount. Yours should be much more level.

Also note that Dan has his PS and AC mounting bracket powdercoated black so it may look a little funny in that 2nd picture

I have the air bag sensor removed in that pic because I'm having the engine bay painted.

Is this still available?

I'd like the Dual Black Cores if possible..

How long would it take to get to my doorstep btw if I'm in the Bay Area, CA.
My car's in the shop getting a Single conversion done and should be done soon so I'm wondering how much this would hold me up.

Thanks!
