Good to know this thing is going but to bad about the suppliers. Any word from them? I just looked at my stock single intercooler and its really smashed so its probably not cooling very well.

Thewird.....I just checked the box which I thought had everything in it. I'm still missing some of the parts that are needed to complete the kit. So it will take a few extra days to get these out

did you guys look into running a parallel setup? or orienting the coolers so the fittings on are on the bottom (using banjo fittings to receive little more ground clearance)?

Just out of curiosity, why would we run them parallel? The fittings are mounted on the top.

I forgot if this was answered, do the coolers fit within the 99 spec oil cooler ducts?

the 99 oil ducts attach to the stock coolers if I'm not mistaken, so I would say no they do not. Do you have a 99 front?

I have the 99 front with the 99 ducts which extend lower then the 93 ducts to grab extra air from the 99 lip. I just thought about it now. I don't think the stock coolers attach to the ducts. I'd have to check in the morning.

yup, let me know. The stock 93-95 ducts DO attach to the coolers, so I wouldn't be surprised if they attach the same way.

Those aren't ducts. You are missing the ducts, that is just the undertray. So right now your oil cooler is not ducted at all.

The undertray doesn't reach the oil coolers. They are separate parts that are called "oil cooler/brake ducts" in the Mazda parts manual which does duct some air to that area and to the brakes. So will your brakes fit within those "ducts"?

Mazda seems to think they are ducts. And awesome that it will fit . When taking those pics I noticed how bad a condition my single oil cooler is so I need those dual's as soon as you can send em for extended track use .

You are confusing the word "ducts" - What you are talking about are not "ducts" they are the bumper inlet holes. A "duct" is a molded piece of plastic/metal that attaches directly to the oil cooler and gathers the air from the bumper inlet holes.

The factory oil cooler came with a duct attached to it, but yours is missing. Here you can see what it looks like behind a 99 spec bumper here:

http://images.sportcompactcarweb.com...oupe+front.jpg

The duct, which does attach directly to the cooler, is missing on your cooler.

Our kit will not come with ducts, but will fill out your space behind the bumper inlet better. You can also make custom ducts pretty easily, I made some for Dan's car recently, check out this thread:

yeah those arent ducts... well they are, they are brake ducts, and they cover the bottom of car that the belly pan doesnt reach. mazda actually DOES make 99 spec oil cooler ducts for the stock bumpers . they do not seal well. they most definitely are available, however they are designed for the stock coolers so they really wouldnt work so well for anything but the stock application. depending on how close the 99 spec bumper sits to this kit, ducts may not even be needed... however this is still to be determined. im working with scrub to settle this question, as well as how to fit 99 spec fogs with this kit, and working on an iteration of this kit for 20b applications . -heath
