Another GB Interest on PFC and Commanders!
Hey guys! I'm back w/ some news!
The stock was just replenished, and the order just arrived w/ our guys in Japan. So it shouldn't be long before the PFCs are shipped over to the US, at which point distribution to you guys should commence. Thanks for your patience!

awesome. really looking forwarding to getting mine.
just a question though: i checked the "shipping time & delays" thread but didn't get the answer iw as looking for - once it's on the boat, how long does it take to get to the states?
p.s. Ramy, i know some people have been giving you **** lately. people don't seem to understand - there are a lot of customers and this is a very tiny operation. if people don't want to wait, they should spend the extra 20%, 30%, or more (that they would save with you) and buy domestically. anyway, keep up the good work!

RiceFx, I'm sure there are ppl looking to grab your spot...
180SXslider, email me re: the boost controller (Info@FDNewbieImports). It's not a popular unit b/c early experiences w/ it found that it doesn't hold boost very well/accurately (in comparison to say, the tried and true Greddy Profec B).

thewird, apples and oranges my friend. The Pettit (or M2 or insert whatever name you like) ECU is a static, non-reprogrammable "generic" ECU. Sure, they can be preprogrammed (from the original manufacturer) for certain mods, but b/c they're sold to you blind (ie w/o your car physically being there, and the ECU being tuned for your specific car and mods), what you're essentially getting is a VERY rough tune for your power mods, but running pretty darn rich to leave a considerable margin of error - cuz they don't want ya blowing your motor on their ECU. And there's no way to verify your AFR and how lean YOUR car will run on the ECU...so they just leave it so rich that it WON'T detonate on ANYONE'S cars, as long as they have the same basic mods (eg IC, intake, and full exhaust).
Now sure, this sounds pretty reliable, but it's also a lot of money that fences you in. If you change anything such that you need a retune, you basically have to throw that ECU away, b/c you can't reprogram it yourself. Also, you're paying all that money for something that's a "generic" tune, meaning that you're not really getting all of your money's worth. When a PFC is tuned for ya on the dyno or on the street, the tuner is tuning YOUR car, based on YOUR mods, YOUR AFR, and how much power he can make out of YOUR setup. So you're getting MAXIMAL bang for your buck.
This is in addition to the fact that virtually ANY mods you do to your FD (as long as you keep the 13B-REW) will simply require a retune; the PFC is FULLY programmable like that
See the difference? A PFC is simply the *smarter* way to go, no questions asked
