The tentative closing date for the GB is ~2.5 weeks from today 5/13/07 11:59 PST. After we place the order we'll have a better idea of when the units will arrive .

Yep. They should come with a base mod map. I would double check it just to be sure though. You can look it up here:

Awesome. Also, I know it will be extra, but can you get the optional boost control solenoid and hardware?

You can place an order through our site. It's not part of the GB.

If it's not listed then an inquiry needs to be sent through email.

Please keep all posts on topic with the thread. PFC and Commander questions only.

Fritz, as was mentioned before, other companies may ADVERTISE they have the PFCs, but then they'll either tell you it's a several month wait AFTER you pay, or refund your money b/c they don't anticipate having any in a while. When I take your orders, it's not a theoretical price on theoretical units. I make sure I can SECURE those units. That's why. So don't be surprised if you have a similar experience as others have mentioned on the thread

Yea right LOL. Didn't I just say there's an issue w/ stock/availability given the bankruptcy of Apexera?

no this is what you said:

So you can secure them but you just don't know when they'll be secured

No need to try and get smart.

But just in case you want to... "Can" is a different word than "Do."

I don't run GBs unless I CAN secure the units. And I DON'T secure the untils until AFTER I have payment in full, b/c from my experience, we have our fair share of flakers on the forum. So nothing's allocated/purchased/reserved etc until payment is received.

So in short, if you'd like one, join the GB, and I'll take the necessary steps to include your PFC in the batch I'm getting once the GB's closed.

Thanks,
~Ramy

Sounds like you're in the same boat as any other vendor. Is that a correct assessement or is FD Newbie the only company that can secure PFCs.

I'm not trying to be smart either I'm just trying to get clarification on why it's better to purchase a power FC at 800 VS some other price when the pricing on a group buy should be better.

Fritz, I'm really not interested in going back and forth. I post up what I have, and you're welcome to windowshop as you please. If you like what you see, we'd love to help you and would be very appreciative of your willingness to support a forum vendor. If not, that's cool too, but my private paid for vendor space isn't the place to share that

Also, again I'll remind you that in the previous GB, ppl cited examples of them going w/ other "lower priced" vendors, waiting WEEKS, only to get a refund and an email that said sorry, they couldn't secure a unit.

So that's the difference between me and them. If I promise, I'll deliver. Guaranteed. And I pass on the best savings I can get to you guys, because I know how it is to be strapped for cash, and b/c I wanna help out the guys who help support me.

Lastly, no one in the US is selling the units for as cheap as I am. And dealing w/ ppl overseas...good luck w/ any Customer Service issues that may arise. That's one of the things you don't need to worry about when supporting your LOCAL forum vendor. Not only do you keep your money within the community and help your fellow rotorhead, but you also know that there are alternatives and resolutions to any problems that may arise.

So again, at the end of the day, it's your call. If your call is to join us, great We're pleased. If your choice is not to join us, that's entirely your right, but please don't make a discussion out of it on a GB thread - normally I wouldn't even allow those posts to remain (this isn't a a discussion forum or the Lounge). This is private paid for vendor space. So please keep that in mind.

Thanks
~Ramy
