If not, that's cool too, but my private paid for vendor space isn't the place to share that

Also, again I'll remind you that in the previous GB, ppl cited examples of them going w/ other "lower priced" vendors, waiting WEEKS, only to get a refund and an email that said sorry, they couldn't secure a unit.

So that's the difference between me and them. If I promise, I'll deliver. Guaranteed. And I pass on the best savings I can get to you guys, because I know how it is to be strapped for cash, and b/c I wanna help out the guys who help support me.

Lastly, no one in the US is selling the units for as cheap as I am. And dealing w/ ppl overseas...good luck w/ any Customer Service issues that may arise. That's one of the things you don't need to worry about when supporting your LOCAL forum vendor. Not only do you keep your money within the community and help your fellow rotorhead, but you also know that there are alternatives and resolutions to any problems that may arise.

So again, at the end of the day, it's your call. If your call is to join us, great We're pleased. If your choice is not to join us, that's entirely your right, but please don't make a discussion out of it on a GB thread - normally I wouldn't even allow those posts to remain (this isn't a a discussion forum or the Lounge). This is private paid for vendor space. So please keep that in mind.

Thanks
~Ramy
Excellent post

I'll send some cash to help support a fellow rotorhead

If the prices quoted are for the PFC and commander, I'm in.

One question: Do you need to receive payment by the 13th? My experience with PayPal is that it takes 3-4 days to transfer money into PayPal from your bank account. That's probably next Wednesday...

If I have a pending transaction that's enough. But we do go back and check to make sure everything clears, so no one gets away with shorting us .

We've had a good number of payments already. I'll get the paid list posted tonight .

We are aiming for a minimum of 10 orders so if necessary we will extend the GB. We won't drag this out too long since I'm sure those that have paid are anxious to receive their PFCs .

Sorry I was so late to check back in. Good price. I believe I sent an e-check about a minute ago, but if I'm wrong let me know. Thanks again.

I'm curious at what the PFC does. I've seen a lot of rx7's have it and was wondering if I need it or will need it/benefit me. Is it some sort of ECU or controller? I might be interested in buying it but I don't even know what it does lol. A link to some thread or faq would be nice. Thanks.

Nope.

Here's some info on the PFC and what it does:

http://www.rx7store.net/product_p/power%20fc.htm

If you plan on modding your car beyond basic upgrades and don't want to go all out with an EMS that will require wiring and sensors (and still may not perform as well as a PFC depending on your application) the PFC is a good upgrade.

thewird, in short, the PFC is a completely adjustable, programmable, and tunable ECU. It's years ahead of any piggy-back computer or reflash. And since it's so incredibly common, the vast majority of tuners know how to use it. That's why it's really THE ECU of choice, both here and in Japan.

As for necessity, once you pass the 3-mod rule (ie any three power mods, such as intake, DP, and exhaust), you need an ECU to continue any further - or you risk running lean and blowing your motor. Being that the PFC is the ECU of choice (100% plug and play), if you ever plan on modding your FD, this is the ECU for you

blueskaterboy, we're trying to close the GB ASAP, so the orders can go out. We're at 6 right now I believe, so once I get 4 more (10 total), I'll be closing the GB.

Thanks,
~Ramy
