RX7 Shops in Tokyo
RX7 Shops in Tokyo
I am taking a trip to Tokyo for two weeks and I wanted to know if there are any shops I can find parts for my FD. Anyone know places I can check out?
Almost all the well known "tuner" shops / manufacturers are either not in Tokyo or in the countryside of Tokyo-to. Try hitting up Super Autobacs in Shinonome by Tokyo Bay...that's your best bet and most "bang for the buck" plan.
What shops do you want to go to? What is your budget, and some parts need to be pre-ordered if you want to pick them and ship them back to your house by EMS. Some shops do not carry all the stuff in stock.
R magic is near Sagami-Hara near Kamimizo Station.
Scoot is in the same vicinity.
Knightsports is near Omori station.
RE-Amemiya is in Chiba near Narita station.
Axia Sports is near Fuchinobe station 2 stations behind from Hashimoto.

Maybe w/ the exception of Knight Sports. But they're also on the outskirt of metropolian Tokyo (within 23 ward). I remember having to walk for a while from the station the first time I went there, though. Have fun doing lots of walking in Japan!
Border and KSP are totally in the sticks too. You may need to get in a taxi.
Like I said, all in countryside places (yes, Tokyo is big)!

Border is on the outskirts of Tokyo, hell its almost Saitama if I am not mistaken, its like with 4 or 5 klicks from my wifes parents house. and trust me , you would pay more for the taxi than anything you could even attempt to save....

I just got back from R Magic and...omg it was awesome!!! The guys there were really nice and gave us a tour of the shop. They got a bunch of FDs and a couple FCs and RX8s. They also showed us the FDs they use to race with. I saw a sleek headlight kit there and was amazed that it was 180,000 yen, about $1800.00, that's a ton of money but I've never seen it before or seen anyone have it in the states. They started up one of the cars they were working on and I have never seen a wankel run that smooth. Everything on it was tuned perfectly and definitely talking to each other. Even when they reved it up, engine was smooth. I was impressed. Next I'm going to check out AE-Amemiya near Narita...
