RE-A access from Tokyo Station?
I'm taking Shinkansen to Tokyo Station and thought I'd check out RE-A while I'm in the area. I know he has a small map on his website and it's in Tomisato-city, but other than that I can't really figure out what train to take. How far is it from central Tokyo? Thanks for any help guys, -Joe
Ok looks like if you are taking a train it is near Shisui station or Keisei Narita station. Either one you will have to take a taxi from so if you can print the map off the website you can give that to your taxi driver and take a trip out there. You will be best off calling before you go and making sure they are in the shop that day and not at a track or event.
oh here is a link to a yahoo map of it all.

it is the small red target in the middle.

OK here is another link for ya that will help you dearly if you dont know of it already.
It was a life saver when I first moved to Japan and tried getting around on the trains.
This link is just the sites home where you can put in any station, date, and time and then your desired destination.

Put in Tokyo for the first box and then Shisui for the second. There will be a couple choices for Tokyo after you click next so choose the one that is just plain Tokyo. I think you may save a bit of money and time by going to Keisei narita station. But I have never done the trip so take another look at that map and check out how many kilometers it is going to be from each location. Shisui does have a Sobu line going to it. Good luck!

Ok thanks a lot Circuit and Jason! Also I'm sure you guys know but another really good train info site that I used a few times when I came to Japan is www.hyperdia.com It's usually correct and can give you ideas of how to plan routes out. (Although in this case ir's of no help
)
So Jason, what do you recommend to get to his shop by train? I'm hoping that station won't be TOO far. I'm going to take a taxi from the station. I have the address of his shop but I can't read the map and I have no printer...I might have to copy it out lol Any ideas?

there are like two guys that speak english so you should call and make sure they are open, I think they are closed tuesdays (its been a while) and take a taxi from the station. I mean its not that far, its just a little bit of a walk. I always drove there, but I left my FD with them when I went to the states sometime back and they took us to the train station..
Well good news, I made it! Thanks a lot for your help guys. I will fill you in tomorrow more about how I got there. It is pretty far from civilization but was worth the effort
