New 7 on Oki
Hey everyone, I finally bought my first 7. Don't have it in my possession quite yet, but will in the next week. Anyways, it's a 96, and pretty much bone stock minus exhaust, MS K&N intake, and turbo timer.
Was hoping I could get help from anyone here on island about places that tailor, or carry parts for 7s. Also suggestions to what I should start doing to it. I just wanna build up a solid running car that gets up to 350 HP, 400 being very max. I'm reading up on as much as I can, but suggestions always help. I definitely plan on getting a Power FC, and anyone know a place/person who could tune it?
I'm on Kadena, fyi. Use to drive a 92 R32 GTR, which now my friend owns. Anyways, thanks for any help you guys can give me. I'm can't stand the wait to get my RX 7, so overly anxious.

Pretty much there isn't any one place that caters to RX-7's. Not enough of them for a place to survive, business-wise. So the general shops will be able to get what parts you need. Auto Shop Turbo, Sanjyo's, etc.
PowerFC? There is a rx7club forum member that's very experienced with tuning FD's on the PowerFC. Once they're tuned by him, they're good to go as long as you don't change anything. He's igy. Look him up. He's a lot cheaper than any of the shops around here, and he's a lot better.
