Does Japan have car wreckers

Hey just wondering if Japan is like Australia, and has car model specific or any car wreckers that tear apart cars and sell the parts?

There are wreckers. If you want me to take your FD I will need 10,000 yen and then I will tear your car apart lol.
They are all over the place, most of them have large tin walls going around them so you cant see in!!! A lot are owned by Chinese, sri lanken, thai, and Nigerian people and then the other half are owned by japanese, yakuza, and some other organized crime groups. Most of them recycle the metal parts both steel and aluminum. The catylizers are sold and melted down because there is a small amount of platinum in them, batteries are recycled, then for the most part the other parts are all crushed into the final steel cube or pancake. Missions and other aluminum parts and rear ends are set aside and sent off to india or somewhere else where they make frankenstein cars.

You can find some FD parts at them maybe but even a trashed FD can still pull in more money at the auctions than it can by being recycled at the wreckers.

Hope that helps, sorry they wont have a GTC bumper for ya.
