Well 7's day is almost here. There is an event at Ebisu for the actual 7's day event but it is on July 6th at Ebisu. I don`t plan on heading out there but for those that do I am sure it will be a good event!

On July 7th (monday) there will be a bunch of people going to Daikoku parking as they do every year on the 7th of July. I am planning to head out there but I dont think my car will be road ready .

Anyone else planning to go to either of these or any other 7's day type events?

 

Yo ill be going to daikoku, is it during the day or at night? Last pics I saw it was during the day but last year it was probably on the weekend right?

I saw on rextreme blog there a race day on the 18th, im going to try and get to that one but friday is a bit difficult. Theres nothing listed on the tsukuba website so if anyone has more info. Daikoku will be on Monday and my guess is people will start showing up around 7 at the earliest since it is a work day. Peak time will probably be from 9-11 maybe.

Turbo II FC and Miata mx5: Hope to see you guys there tonight! This year we wont be taking many Wise One cars out. I think only 1 or 2 are going. A lot of the guys (myself included) decided to start getting ready for track season this coming fall especially with the new Circuit down in Chiba expected to be finished up!

Their is an international Summit going on here in Japan at the moment so the Police are out in full force. Drive safe guys and watch out for undercover patrol cars.

 

Russ: NO SEVEN!!! what happened??? Did someone make you an offer on it you couldn`t refuse? I'm sad to hear you no longer have it but I am sure you have a good reason.

I remember seeing your blog Russ about selling your FD but I figured you had another one or something. What was the main reason for selling and will you be getting another 7? Sorry guys, wasnt able to make it this year, some family issues came up so please post some pics and let me know how it was.
