The location is applicable since many of the Interior/Exterior and audio threads relate to custom fabrication.

Awesome. Hopefully I can find a few good tips on welding my handbuilt bastard child exhaust.

I knew my, "come on, come on..." would work. It did in Family Guy, too.

I personally think this location will be the death of this section. It should be it's own forum, not a sub forum to a section that absolutely no one cares about who is interested in actually building parts for their car, subwoofer boxes aside. Aren't you a car audio guy Icemark? If this had to be a sub forum it should be in race car tech as more custom fab happens there than anywhere else on the forum. Now how about we move all those custom IM threads and Exhaust manifold threads and the like in here.

Interior/Exterior/Audio section has over 12k threads. How is this a section nobody cares about?

No, not really. It's still a viewed section. Why don't you give it some time? Icemark just probably made the section not but 3 hours ago.

One thread so far not really on topic but I'll change that soon. & yes I'll keep it civil as long as thread like, "Yo check out my cardboard cold intake!!!" & "who needs $200 for a short shifter when all you need is a hacksaw!!" and crap like that. Then I'll get violent and smash my fist through many a things

I'll actaully start a thread on that if you want with some pics. I just finished mine

I agree. I actually looked in the race car tech section first. When I think about this section I think neon likes and such. I'd much rather see it elsewhere but I am happy it's here. So thanks alot for the new section. Can I mod now? PAWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE!! I'll be nice to the n00b's from now on. Even the drifters

Actually, I second TTT's plee. I think it would be good since he is a very good fabricator from what I've seen, and who better to mod a fab section than a fabricator?

Brian- Good to see you active again. Don't worry about the hackjob threads and look my new intake threads. I am moderhater for this, so all the nonsense will get thrown out and the good stuff will get praise. This will be for the hardcore fabrication.

And no, you can't moderate. You would easily be the best candidate for moderation, but rules are rules brother.

I look forward to seeing threads from you in the future.

Thanks Justin. But. aren't rules meant to be broken?

I'm getting more active again as things quite down - I need to get back into the BAW though - shame on me. I'll post up a bunch of threads once things get finished up. Today was a good day, I kicked an entire 60 cu/ft tank of argon today working on the VMIC setup There will be some bitchin pics from that soon

Sorry for my lack of knowledge on welding topics and such, but when you guys say fabrication forum, can it be everything that has to do with a bulid? Including the fabrication of your own parts or fabbing something that couldn't be bought as a bolt on?

Anything to where you make it yourself. Spoiler, front lip, manifolds, downpipe, exhaust, roll cage, etc.

No bullcraph threads about short shifters and custom stereo installs.

I also think that alot of fiberglass/carbon fiber pieces is needed also.

As long as you do it yourself, it can go in here.

It'll have some growing pains, but I think it'll pick up and settle in. Hopefully everyone will stop lamenting about thread locations in other people's threads soon enough and we can get on with it.

Re: the forum location, I'm not sure that it matters where it is. Eventually everyone will find it and it will take off. . . Hopefully.

Why thank you, and I will - I pull a bunch of threads from the other forum and post them up on some of my insomniatic nights - which are rather frequent.

So ah....... who's Alyssa

Meh, that was more a help to me in the fiberglassing department than stereo install.

But, i guess you could pull some stereo advice from it too.

That's more fiberglassing than a stereo install.

Man never knew this section even existed. Hopefully I will have some nice things to share with you guys soon. My future goal is to show some of you ways to fabricate on the cheap without pricey machinery.
