2,000 is doable, but you'd be driving a shell of a car. My goal is to hit 2,180 or just a little under that, but I also have a full roll cage, which weighs about 150#. If you're willing to pull all the bumper supports and go with a single race seat and no cage (or just a half cage), 2,000# should be very reachable.

i gutted my doors and lost 94lbs not sure if thats soemthing you'd be interested in but it's an option.

I will be stripping everything off my doors that isnt needed to wined up my windows and open close and lock my doors other then that I will see what all I can cut off of them. also I want to get ride of my sun roof mechaizum, and make it so my sun roof panle can be taken on and off and not leak any water so I can still have a sun roof when I am driveing on those realy nice summer days and not get rained on when I am drifting in the rain any ideas.

I have been told by people that they can build FRP about as light as a compairable wet CF part. Pre preg CF is where the real advantage is. Wet CF is for street cred...
