Looks to me like all the RX-7s are FDs of US soldiers in Germany.
I want to send one of my extra FBs to Europe (France) permanently for my use there, since I'm there a lot. But I'm concerned about getting it licensed and permitted.

in the Netherlands we have most SA/FB's,then the FD's, FC TII cabrio's,FC NA, and FC TII's
Funny thing is, of all the Rx-7's we have very little TII's
I got some exact figures of it, measured in December 2006. I'll look it up and post it

i was a bit off ; here are the numbers of December 2006
1979-1985 12A : 123 cars
1986-1989 13B NA : 52 cars
1988-1991 13B NA Convertible : 2 cars (proberly US-spec imports, europe did only get the TII convertibles)
1988-1992 13B Turbo II Convertible : 22
1987-1992 13B Turbo II : 20 cars (8x S4, 12x S5)
1992-1995 13B Twin-Turbo : 23 cars
So in total there are 242 Rx-7 on license here in the Netherlands, 9 less than in December 2005
The good new is, there came 2x 20B Eunos Cosmo into the country this year, making the total number of Cosmo's to:............................... 2

Are there not regular outings by the RX-7 club?
I just returned from 2 weeks in the Loire valley, west of Saumur, and didn't see a single RX-7.
But I did see a splendid collection of old Peugeots in a small village called "Le Puy Notre Dame", including 403, 302, 301 and 201, at least . There was also a Renault Floride, Triumph Spitfire, MGA and another MG sedan whose name I don't remember. Apparently there was a club meeting occuring in the large hotel. I didn't interrupt.
I was just passing thru on an excellent bicycle I bought for 10 euro at an emmaus near Thouars, with custom frame, 47/51 Campag chainrings, corncob 6 speed cluster, brazed on fittings, etc., obviously carefully designed and built by an enthusiast 30 years ago. All I had to do was air up the tires and ride away! Just a touch of the pedals produced speed like the wind. Except for the hills. Too bad it's too small for me, it would be good for a guy 5 inches shorter than me.
I see there are club members from Nantes and Brest participating here. Is there a club in the Loire? I'll be shipping one of my FBs there.

In Italy:
- 2 are mine: one m.y. 1979, and one 1981 (check my sign).
- 1 red m.y. '79 is near to death (stupid seller )
- 1 was KO.
- 1 near black is like new was sold 2months ago to another italian.
- 1 white was rebulded near good
Other first gen I don't know
I also say that there's some II and III gen. One near new II gen Cabrio coming from Germany I'm near to buy
I also searching a GSL-SE USA with 13B original engine, but it's too expensive and long import from USA
Ps: Hello to everyone!

If you look hard, you can find them for sale in Germany from time to time.
I have seen at least 3 for sale over the last 5 years.

I check often autoscout24, mobile.de and Ebay. Do you have some other site for me?
My m.y. '79 had a 13B porting and it's very good, at low rpm had the right torque that miss the m.y. 81 with the 12A...
I think it's the right engine for the I gen.
