My project, first test run 12A Bridge port trackcar
well,
the Dutch Rx-7 club was at the Zandvoort Circuit last weekend and i did my first test there with the trackcar.
everything went great, only sometimes having a dip in the fuelpressure. Never took it to 100% but that's what a test run is for
powerband is not bad, but the most fun starts at 7000+ RPM.
Next time there will be cage, a bucketseat, harness and slick tires
Here's a video from the trackday :

Congrat's with the trackcar Mireck! Enjoyed the video as well....
That sure is a nice circuit you have in Holland. Great mix of cars... maybe to many cars? Does it thin out as the day goes on or it's it that busy all day?
Best of luck with future runs.

Its been on halt for the last couple of months, endplay issues.
That and the fact that I just put way too much money towards fixing up my appartment
So much to do - so little money

Nicely made video Mireck! Nice car too!
Well, I sure wouldn't feel comfy on such a crowded track... Seems the club day is a success!
As for fuel issues: normally a carbed setup wouldn't need a swirl pot, so it might be the regulator.

Hey man as far as fuel pressure goes I have run a Holley blue with a dead head regulator for about 3 years on a 13B Bridgeport. Some people say its not good but I beg to differ. The kit costs about $125 from summit racing and will cure your pressure problems. The kit even includes the regulator. Even at wide open throttle on the highway@10400 RPM it has never dried up on me. While doing some dyno testing we were able to extract up to 20 HP just messing around with fuel pressure. Porting will only take you as far as the fuel will let you. It is a bridgeports life blood.
