So, after a 4 and a half year break I'm headed back to Germany. I'm working with Higgi to get another FC and you better believe I'm going to top what I accomplished with my last FC. This time I'll be located at Spangdahlem AB. I'm looking forward to meeting up with and wrenching with the other rotary owners in the area. I'll put up a reply to this with some pics of the old FC...in case y'all forgot

 

 

I'm over in the Ramstein area now and have about a year left. I've only seen 2 FC's the whole time I've been here and it would be great to see another.

Hells yes, I'm stoked about Higgi bringing my new FC over. We'll call it the Higgi special, a bone stock S4 FC with Torsen LSD and RB front sway. Hoping to roll enough pennies (suppose it'd be nickels actually, since they don't ship pennies over here) to get some parts from him. If anyone's looking for parts you should definitely hit Higgi up, maybe he can bring some stuff with him when he brings my car.

 

When are you supposed to arrive over in Spang?

 

Already there. I saw a black FD at the clinic the other day...pretty clean looking. I'm waiting on my travel voucher money so Higgi can deliver my new baby, lol.

 

good luck with the project. im at spang myself, i got a black FD but not the one u saw at the clinic but i know that guy. my FD hasnt seen the base in months. mine will be down all winter. i will be doing a full rebuild i love the FC platform, i had one back when i was in japan and it left me with an imprint of a rotary in my head forever haha.

 

Thanks. If you need a hand with your rebuild or anything let me know, I've been wrenching for quite a while, and sometimes it's nice just to have an extra set of hands or eyes around. I basically have my own shop too, once my tools arrive to my house.

Not really a winter project so much as a daily driver project lol. I'll have pics up this weekend.

nop, i met the guy that owns it though. mine hasnt seen the base much. i just pulled the motor out a couple of weekends ago and before that i had some overheating problems so i figured.......17 yr old stock motor, its bout time for a rebuild. Good luck with a decent day in germany especially now that winter is here.

 

Hey, the other black FD with gold BBS wheels was me. Striker you own the black FD with the MS-02 wheels right? I chased you down that one day, haha. Anyways, I'm gone already and am at Aviano now. Hope all is well at Spang.

yea man i got the MS-02s. my car is down and i hope to get it up and running by the mid to end of summer. had alot of stuff going. hope all is good down in italy. if you need any FD engine parts feel free to PM me cuz im swapping a new motor into it. the current one was not so bueno.

 

Oh that sucks, mines been in the body shop for awhile now. Should be getting it back in a few weeks. That would be pretty nice. Anything special you're getting rid of or just all stock engine parts? I might need a few things.

What would you be looking to get for the whole short block? I may be interested in buying it so I can rebuild it and swap it into my FC.
