European Meeting for Wankel powered cars
Hi,
well, we are organizing an European meeting for ALL Mazda rotary vehicles so every RX and the Cosmo's is welcome.
We are already organising, not going to

They are allready organising a trip from Norway, and I had a look at the swedish forum to, and they are also very optimistic to make this trip to the european sevenstock.
Maybe we should call it EUROSTOCK or EUROTARY HEHE
Really looking forward to this, and I hope that as many as possible will show.
The organisers of this has even opened up for å trip to the NURBURGRING
1ST WEEK IN JUNE RIGHT???

Interested, I'm not too far away from the nurnburgring.
I already tried this back in 2007 (then the meeting was planned for 7/7/2007) :-) but never came around to do it. In the meantime there are a lot more RX7's in Europe

Well I do belive these guys are serious about the planning of this meeting.I have tried to search the web to find out how many who will show up, but no luck
I think eveybody who knows somebody and knows about the different forums, have to spread the word about this event.
But we are prepearing and saving up money to make this trip.
I hope some more information is coming out soon.

I think me and some more guys will drive there on thursday and go back home monday....
I'm hoping for a little track time to
But most of all, to meet other rotary-people and check out their rides.

yeah it's in june. Arranging places to sleep at the moment, trying to organize a bbq (with fallback if raining) and so on. But no promises on bbq because big thing to arrange.
Well, first thing to sort of mention is the place, accomodation and price for living/sleeping, you will be surprised about that when final. Furthermore finishing the website, will be up and running in a few days and all info/plan will be pronounced there.
Please spread the word that this is coming up. And every rotary powered car is welcome. So get all the dust of all those Merc C111's, NSU Ro80's, Mazda RX-x's and Eunos Cosmo's and get them ready to fire up...

whatever carmake doesn't matter: if it's rotary powered car with a rotorhead behind the steeringwheel come over and join the happening.

Ok, site url is www.nopistons.eu and will be updated in coming days/weeks. when i have info i will update it and kick this thread to the top.
ignore the warnings of the certificate as i've no time to create/install a cert.
site is just brought up and filled A BIT. not much to see yet tbh.
we will visit the places near the meeting in the very near future and make the deals final (houses/food/...)

Updated the news section a bit, will call the Ring tomorrow if track is available to drive on. If any more info on the date or anything else I'll post here right away so people can start planning.
