well, it did do something, have you seen the views and posts it got? those would ohterwise all be in the other theads!!! But still, yes, we are doing some good hijacking again. And indeed the forum is acting funny since the update. It took me several tries to get the post on about me putting "Kim, I won" under my name. That way I'll never make it :-)

I think we should rename this forum from European Fourm to Hijack Forum.

When you guys could choose, and buy ONE car, no matter what price, but only one, what would it be? And why?

911GT1 road car... yes that's a great one too.
I still hope to build a 787B replica :-) But it won't be for the next few years, I guess. Next on the list is a lotus seven look-a-like. Rotary powered, of course ;-)

Yeah, if I had the money to build the first one at all :-)
Why is it that money always stands between a man (ok, boys in our case) and his dreams?
Let's rob a bank, it's for a good cause :-)

good part about the escape is that no witnesses knows what we drove.

Officer: Did you see what vehicle they used?
Moron: I dont know what it was but it took them 3 minuttes, for four guys to get inthere!

Man, I don't know if I could choose just one, especially since I have started rallying. So I'll narrow it to two.

Street: 996 turbo, without a doubt. This car has it all, power, looks, and German die-hard reliability. There are more exotic-lookng and powerful cars out there, but you can guarantee that by the time you pay for those cars, you will have paid for the 996 itself, as well as power increases, maintenance for the next 20 years, and still have enough left over to build a REALLY nice garage for it.

Rally: Subaru Impreza WRC. My heart belongs to the Lancer, but there is no denying that the Impreza so well-suited to rally as to be mistaken as a purpose-built rally car.

Runners-up for the above categories:

Street: 20B FD
Rally: RS200

You can actually have one of those for cheap, A friend of mine owns the local hobbyshop, he had gotten a preview of the new 1:24th scale Hasegawa models which did include a,and I qoute: Toyota Celica 1600GT (racing version) prod# 21267 1.
It was just a sketchdrawing but it should be on sale sometime in 2003, did i mention that it was pretty cool looking.
Kim

*edit*
Model shown in this link is not the one i saw, but this one is nice too

You know, I take that back about the 996 turbo. Substitute 993 turbo instead. I think they looked more traditional, but still modern, and they were still air-cooled.

Im a Porsche guy too, who aint, i like the 80´s turbo models. I just want the "raised" lights instead of those modern laydown styles, call me oldfashioned or amish, but i like em a little older

I don't know if you remember, but it used to say, "Yeah, you know you're rice," which was a twist on that new/old song from Nirvana.

It's from their "new" album of stuff that wasn't released before Kurt Cobain decided he couldn't handle the "pressure" of being rich and famous.
