'49 Rotary-Powered Anglia Anyone??
Hey Gents,
Thought I'd check the European Forum first since you inherited the lions share of early Ford Anglias. In particular, my favorite, the 1949 (in either Anglia or Thames trim). I'd love to find one stateside and do a rotary conversion, but they are uber-rare over here. Seems like the lower torque and more linear power band of the rotary would be a natural for these short-wheelbased point-and-shoot drag racing lawn darts.
Let me know if you've ever seen one converted to rotary power. For those of you unfamiliar with the '49 body style, I've attached a little video truffle for your viewing pleasure! Hope to see a few of you at Sevenstock 10 in September.
Cheers!
