The only thing i have heard about the XS ecu is bad. One of the tricked out 3rd gens around here tried it and BOOM motor gone after 3 days or something. I wouldn't use it.

The XS ECU is basically the same hardware as the G-Force, Pettit and M2 ECUs. There is nothing wrong with any of them. If you have it programmed improperly for your car, or if you have bad gas and high boost, or its a full moon on Sunday, your motor can go boom. This is not a reflection on the ECU in general.

I've had my XS modified ECU for 3 or 4 years now. I ran it when I was sequential and now with my non-seq setup. It's worked great for me and XS' customer service was great (although, I don't think they support it any more because of the Power FC).

When I first got it, I asked for boost to be at 13psi. It was at 13.5 on my car...I called them up, they sent me a new boost chip that I plugged in and my boost was at a perfect 13.

If you do a search on my posts (or on XS ECU) you'll find some other posts from me, as well as my most recent Dyno run that also had the wide-band O2 sensor logged...my A/F looked really good according to most people who responded.

Hope this info helps...
