You can try AIM Tuning in Indianapolis.Thats the closest
place I can think of.Go to there website aimtuning.com.
They could at least tell you about someone else closer to you. Sometimes you can get an engine through A
Mazda Dealership cheaper. It depends on what type of
engine rebuild you want.(2mm or 3mm apex seals).

I know they're not close to Ohio, but I would recommend www.pineappleracing.com. Give them a call they are THE best in my opinion.

I could do it but what would it cost? Plus I would need the Know-How. Is there a book?

it is not that hard if you are pretty good with automotive. as long as there is nothing wrong other than alot of miles than take it apart, ship the houseings out have them laped, I would also balance the rotating asembley. part willl coast around $600-$1000 depending on how much you replace. I would do atkin apex seals and gasket set, and some regular mazda side seals, and get the ruber corner insert, and I would use the mazda race corner seals, or the new hurley dual spring corner seal but that can be expensive. Be very careful when cleaning the rotors not to use anything abrasive you don't want to get burs in where your seals go. good luck post if you have anymore questions.

Go to www.atkinsrotary.com and buy the video from them. It will tell you everything that you need to know about rebuilding an engine.

Aim Tuning in Indy does not rebuild rotarys they will buy one from Atkins for you and I've heard mixed reviews about motors from Atkins. There is a shop in Bloomington IN that does rebuilds and it just so happens that I work there we just built a motor for an FD at an incredibly low price for a customer in Indy. Our number is 812 334 4119 or email me at chukruh@yahoo.com
