Stock 94 ECU, will it work on 93s

I have my stock ECU that I am trying to sell and someone wants to know if my 94 ECU from my R2 will work on their car. Does it?

I think so , the 94 will be more likely to NOT have the 3000 rpm hesitation. both should not be Cali cars because of the egr valve differance
