I was just telling you about the other options there are with the microtechs, The stock Fc ingation system is good, but i always here people running MSD's and stuff on them to get better spark, why run MSD's when you can run 4 hi energy coils and not have to worry about that stuff until you want 30psi and above,
you wont have to worrk about your boost sensor the LT's have a MAP sensor built in, the only stock sensors you need are water temp, air temp and TPS.
the LTX8 is around $250au more with the coils and brackects etc,

Guys before you go and buy a Lt-8 computer keep in mind that you cannot use a Australian version in the states. Due to the different laptop we have here. I'm the main distributer in the United states , give me a call at 201-488-5111, The US computer already comes with 3bar map sensor, water temp sensor, air temp sensor, and the laptop memory card, Thank you, marcos acosta

Yes, laptop are all the same, but microtech Didn't want people to be selling over seas, so microtech has put an adapter on the computer that as soon as you plug in your us laptop, the computer would lock it self. and you will have to send the computer back to microtech. Once that computer gets back to microtech. we would see how sold that computer and the company involve in the sells would loose there contract, and would not be able to sell no more computer... double check with your dealer and ask them y the US version are more expensive, the US version of microtech cost 1500, that includeds the 3 bar mapsensor, coolant, air, memorycard, and self datalogging chip for the LT-8

HMMMM working for toshiba i asked the laptop guys and they said there is no difference in the laptops at all execpt the power supply,
so this so called adaptor would be the dongle, the aus versions have these as well,
there is no possible way to make a computer freeze if everything is the same,
i find it hard to believe but if that is the case set the region on your laptop to aus before installing the software, that will fix any country codes that the software uses

marcos,
I think you need to realise something, just about everyone on here knows how to use a PC, Most people know that a 16550 uart com port is a world standard using a db9 - db9 cable, there is no possible way people are going to believe you when you say they cant use this computer in other countries cause it will freeze,
I spoke to microtech on monday, got quotes off them for a computer to be shipped to the us, they were fine with it, didnt um and are and all,
The laptop dongle is used on all 3D computers, not just the US versions,
if the US people dont want to get computers off you they dont have to, they can buy them from south africa and it will still work,
Marcos, the prices that you have quoted here are good prices for the computer you are supplying, it would cost the same to get one sent from Aus.

Ok so whats the price for the LT8 with boost control? Right now I am looking at the GReddy e-manage or the microtech LT8. Looks like the LT8 has more features so far. I would love to get rid of my AFM. Heard on a turbo car you can get up to 30HP by removing it and tuning it properly.
