tec3 Coli location

where did you guys with teh tec3 locate your coils? i just got my tec3 yesterday and i am looking for ideas for the install. please post pics if you got them. thanks aaron

I mounted mine on the actually frame of the car where the AC compressor used to be. If you still have AC, you cannot mount it there.

Ive seen a others mount it under the manifold.

Mine are in the stock location on a custom bracket.

What kind of wires do you use ?
Im planning to use Magncecor with my Tec3r . Its o.k ?



Drag FD project w/ R-85 / Tec3r and unlimited ....boost !

sevenin7. the tec3 book says to use Magncecor it has a page or two on why to use them.

Is it ok to leave the coil posts exposed like that? Didn't Dee have a problem with it on his race car?

Do u guys know if i can Use a tec3 in 1st gen?
I'm currently using the stock ECU(gsl-se) w/ a HKS injector controller
My friend is getting me a tec3 4 About $400 is it worth it?

if you can get a tec3 for $400 buy it now. And yes you can use it on pratically any car.

Got your PM, also I will be testing some single post coils some time this month for electromotive I will keep you posted on the results.
