Whoa, you're going to have to do a lot of research. Go to electromotive, haltech's and hitman's website. Read up on the installation instructions and tuning guide.

You can control whatever you want with these systems. Fuel and ignition control is the bread and butter, but you also have control of boost, fans, fuel pumps, NO2..etc etc. To run the system you have to remove all stock sensors and computer. Then you install all new sensors and wiring. With the Tec you also need to use their *crank* angle sensor and wheel. Everything will have to be dyno tuned, however start up maps do exist but tend to be quite conservative to prevent knock. You do know these systems are 1500 (haltech)-2500 dollars right?

The o2 sensor is what to computer uses to make adjustments to the fuel mixture. The websites explain everything.

Once you're done and the car is tuned, the sky is the limit. Bigger turbo...sure. More or bigger injectors, why not? Nitrous? Bolt it up. Mind you, you'll need to tune the car after every major upgrade.

Since you live in VA, I would definately call PFSupercars about it, they've got the Tec2, and Tec3 DOWN for the RX7, they're in Manasass VA.

I plan to buy an FD...someday. For now my turbo Miata will have to keep me happy.

Will my 2-coil Tec-II (four plug wires) work on an FD? I seem to remember seeing a 3 coil (six plug wire) Tec-II on a rotary. Was I seeing things? How many plug wires on a 13B?

Thanks,
Chris

Tri-Point will have the kit ready to ship, including the pick-up sensor and wheel spec to the RX7. I tell you, that system is one of the best. All the sensors that come with the kit involves adapting them to all of the correct points. Very time consuming manual .
