Self Tuning due to...

Does anyone have any suggestions on a EMS that would fit someone who lives in a city/town with no EMS tuners? That's my current situation... There's a haltech dealer in town but the guy believes that Toyotas are the **** and triangles are a pos and shouldn't even be touched. I've done a search and I've come up with some threads that talk about some basics of tuning but nothing that really gets into the details. Any links to threads or webpages about tuning would be nice. Thanks in advance for the info!

Contact someone who is willing to travel?
There are several members who offer this service.
Even better is to get a group of you guys to defray the cost of flying the tuner in?

I would recommend a TEC3. You can purchase a wideband and run closed loop for tuning. Tuning is very easy. You can have the car starting and running in under 5min.

There are 3 basic settings that you need to input.

A lower injector ms time
A higher injector ms time
and an all range "POT" adjustment.

That's all you need to get started. The map creates itself. The wiring is very very simple, much easier than a haltech with 3 MSD's.

Hope this helps.

I am not sure where in Canuck land you are located...

But I would get ahold of Magnus Motorsports.

The person you need to talk to is Marco. He will be able to tune/map your vehicle. He is also a Haltech dealer.
