safc 1 reliability?
So, i just got the itch to start fixing the fuel issues after installing the exhaust on my S5 TII. It's a bummer the Rtek isn't out for the S5 yet. I have to find an easier alternative without going standalone. I still currently have stock injectors and stock fuel pump. I've already hit the fuel cut a couple times already. I want to install the safc and get it tuned. I was just curious about reliability. I read in the safc topic about someone breaking two motors with this. I have no idea if they just tuned it incorrectly though.
Since I haven't ported the wastegate yet, I wanted to just tune with the boost creep. I'm not sure how high it spikes up to though. I just want to fix the fuel issue and that's it. i'm not looking for alot of power just yet. just want to make sure i don't grenade this motor.
is the safc a safe device to use if tuned properly?
Thanks!
