Power FC not working A/C correctly...

If you are having this problem where did you purchase the computer..?

Software version..?

I am trying to figure out if it's just a particular batch..

I believe it's the wiring harness in some cars that are the problem..

Hi I had the same problem. I bought my PFC in February from the RX-7 store.

Does your ac turn on at all?

I found mine never turned on the compressor.
The commander said the compressor was on but the PFC was sending it the wrong signal. After some testing I'm wireing in a transistor and 5V relay to convert the ECU signal to one the AC relay can use. (the AC relay needs ground from the ECU to go on) for now though. I have a switch and I manually controll it. in a week or so Ill have the ECU controlling it again.

BTW I have a 93 touring

Mine doesn't turn on the compressor on the #3 setting. The others work fine. Go figure.

This is common from what I've found on SEARCH.

How to get it around it??? Not sure but I'm okay for now. I have bigger fish to fry and since the #4 settings works it's not really an issue.

It seems like the luck of the draw when it comes to A/C with PowerFcs.
