please help. pfc tuned or untuned

i was about to purchase a pfc. already have a commander. i was wondering how easy it is to tune or adj the pfc. should i buy one that's already tuned (around 1100 from srmotorsports) or buy it untuned form the rx7store. if i buy it untuned should i have it tuned with a dyno. it will come with a base map right. i have a dp/cb/apex intakes. also have a greddy smic sitting in the garage waiting for the pfc.. i want to run about 12 lbs of boost for now and up to 15 later when i get rad and a better fuel pump???? please help....thanks. kevin

I understand all of your questions: I just bought a PFC for my 93 base. I bought one from Rx7 store. It comes with a base map which I understand is sufficient for intake, complete exhaust (DP, MP, catback) and intercooler upgrades. But to extract the most HP with those upgrades, we will have to go to a dyno.

I currently have the M2 airbox, dp, hollowed out cat, and catback. I am installing the PFC next week. I already boost spike at 14psi in transition =(.

I'd rather run a little rich under boost than lean until I can get it tuned! Wouldn't you agree?

I hope this helps.
