Can somebody who uses the PFS PMS tell me what can be the problem when the engine is not responding to the inputs when they are entered in the key pad

My own used to work well until for some reason the engine do not take the changes that is inputted in the key pad the screen do come on and looks normal all the numbers are showing but it will not take effect toward the engine neither timing or fuel mapping.

All my connections are in and ok
could it be a particular sensor that is malfunctioning or disconnected?

Explain the problem in more detail. What settings are you changing without success?

in reality, the only changes you can see and know for sure immediately are idle changes. If you for instance richen idle by 10 percent, you can definitely tell. Check your switch, and adjust in data set 1 to be certain. Also, make sure you can select the data set to USE wiht the keypad. You just push sav/tog from the title screen

It used to work fine before I pulled a few soleniods, but the car works fine and the screen on the keypad looks normal. Could it be the switch, becuase every time I start the car the computer goes in data set three I always have to put it back in data set three. I need to get a wire diagram for the switch portion.

the ecu defaulty goes into data set one everytime you turn off the ignition and turn it back on again. It could be your switch. Are you able to change to data set 3 using the switch or having to enter it into the keypad? With the switch, if none of the wires are connected, it's in data set 1. I forget the rest of it. Check rob's site on this one.

Due to the fact that most of this seems to be in a language other than English I am going to guess here.
The computer should start in what ever map it was running when the car was shut off if it was selected using the rotary selector. If you are using the key pad it will go back to what ever the selector is at when the car is turned off and back on.
Make sure you are saving the maps as you are tuning and that they are saved in the proper map (1,2,or3) Then make sure you are running that particular map when driving.

Even when I switch between maps the engine does not seems to change in no way. Can I send my computer to EFI and have them test it?

How old is your system? Depending on the age, you may not have the most recent circut board. Call Dough at EFI and explain your problem. Once he is not busy, he will be willing to help you.

Thanks for the reply guys, it use to work perfect before but for some reason the engine stop taking commands from it.
I have contact EFI already so i can send it in to be tested. Upon removing the system to send out to be tested one of the wires on my data set switch was disconnecd so when i put my engine back together I will test it to see if the engine respond on the commands from the key pad.
