Ok this is going to sound daft but do i need to remove the Dash to fit a ECU? (Full stand alone Microtech with loom)

nope, but it might actually be easier. if theres no dash you done have to crawl under it.

MMM i have fitted one before just my car is built up now and i dont fancy removing it again.

if uve got any rx7 after 84 then its easy 2 mount the ecu under the false floor in the passenger foot well. just poke the wiring loom up throught the rubber grommet, best way 2 do that is poke some wire down from the engine side, tape up the end of the loom and use the wire 2 pull the loom through.
