How much premix and what kind

if you have no metering pump, you should do about 1oz a gallon (sorry about the imperial units)
if you have a metering pump, maybe 1oz for 4 gallons, or less.

For me personally, this is the premix I use. Gauging by how much gas my FD burns, I find it easiest to just buy it in bulk.
