HKS PFC F-CON Questions

I have a 88 turbo with a few minor mods.. ie straight pipe to mufflers, HKS intake, 850 cc secondaries, and an HKS F-CON. Does anybody know how to set the F-Con up for these mods. Car is running erraticly, timing is right, getting spark, air and fuel. But I think its getting too much fuel. And since the little black box is in control of that... I need to know how to set it right. There are three red sliding switches and a numbered switch from 0 to 9. What position should these things be in for the mods I got on my car? Can anybody help me? I need to get this thing running before school starts.

Try it on 3 or 4 and see what happens. When I used to have a full exhaust, intake, and FMIC I had mine at around 6. When I added the boost controller I had it at 9. That was with stock injectors.

You'll have to be the judge. Good air/fuel and EGT gauges can help out. Try adjusting the **** until the bogging stops. THe 850 primaries are delivering much more fuel than you need at your current level of mods.

Got an APEX'I timer with air-fuel ratio meter on the way. Was going to replace the injectors with Venom OEM injectors. If I add an APEX'I Super AFC in place of the HKS unit... would that make it easier for me to tune my ride? This thing is really pissing me off. I really need this car for school. I dont want to have to turn to another car.... I love my 88!

You'll have to tune the SAFC to get it right. I'm sure that the 850 secondaries are causing problems.
