All of the popular ones--Haltech, Wolf, Electromoitve--use MAP sensors.

EvilAviator knows of somebody using a Wolf 3D on a non-turbo car. The TEC II is a nice system, but it needs some work to get it set up correctly.

Yeah, I rode along with the Florida Wolf dealer during tuning sessions on two different NA RX-7's. Yes, ditching the stock vane-type AFM really helps the performance! Also, NOTA944 on this forum has some experience with the Wolf on an NA.

I'm not sure what you intend to do with your 88, or what you want to spend, but now that the Wolf 3D 4.0 is about to be released, you may be able to pick up a used 3.x for a really good price (they are $1250 USD new). The 3.x will work just fine in your NA, but note that you cannot change parameters past 8K rpm. The 4.0 has better features, but will cost a couple hundered more, and will not be in full supply in the US for at least another month.

The Haltech E6K is also good, and there is probably a shop nearby to tune it for you. A lot of people have had good results with the TEC II, but personally I'm going to stay away from something that even Peter Farrell has trouble tuning.
