Do i need a wideband to tune an SAFC to my FC?

I was interested in getting an SAFC and hooking it up to my TII FC, but how could i tune it if i don't have a wideband? Does the SAFC have a built in feature that knows?

Thanks

-Carlos

PS. I didn't post this on the SAFC forum cuz no one goes there.

Thanks

No, it doesn't know anything like that. Do you need a wideband? Well, for optimal results it would be nice but there are plenty of people out there who have installed them without a wideband.

They don't.

Either take the car to a dyno or buy a wideband. You can find a plx 300 for nearly 300 dollars now.
